Amazing food and wonderful service. The owner took time to talk with us about the restaurant history and show us cooking techniques. Fresh food straight from their farm.

We just happened to drop by this place on our way out of Arenal, after seeing a sign for pizza for my picky kids. They didn’t have pizza, but we stayed anyway. Kids got chicken fingers made from chickens raised on the farm. Adults had rice, beans, and grilled/smoked chicken and pork also from local farm. Everyone enjoyed the food. We stayed for close to 2 hours talking to the very friendly owner, Alexander. We felt like we were meant to be there. He shared some personal stories and gave my teens some very sound advice. He had their attention, which says a lot. My daughter left taking notes. That alone was worth the lunch. We will certainly remember this experience on our CR vacation.

A nice quite spot along the road to stop and enjoy lunch. Located between Tilaran and Nuevo Arenal this restaurant is surrounded by lush jungle, providing great views of flora and fauna while your delicious food is being prepared!

We did not stay here but stopped at the restaurant and WOW amazing food and service. Their food is super fresh and made on the spot. Their cuisine is similar to Mexican cuisine with super fresh meats and spices from their own soil. I 110% recommend this great family owed restaurant. The owners are super nice and humble and make you feel at home.

Love this place! Had a plate of moist chicken, rice, beans, squash, and salad. Everything fresh! Probably the best meal I've had in CR. Owners are delightful too!

Fantastic! We were exploring Costa Rica and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Friendly service, GREAT FOOD, plantanos Maduro was a great addition to our lunch! You are on our go to list when we visit again!

I did not stay here so I cannot speak to the accommodations. I did however eat here and the food was very good as well as the owners being very attentive and kind. The main reason for the 5 states though is their yogurt! It's absolutely phenomenal and I wish I could have it here in the States. I had a little with lunch and then ended up buying 2 more jugs of it to take with me. It's fresh, delicious, and packed with great fruit.

A great friendly family establishment. We had a wonderful time on the countryside tour, then enjoyed a lovely lunch with the owners grand daughter entertaining our kids! :) -Summer 2014

Great place to stay. Owner & family are very helpful. They speak English & have a wonderful breakfast, including their own homemade yogurt & cheese. Accommodations are clean & comfortable.

The owners are very nice and the food is delicious! Traditional Costa Rican breakfast for 2800 Colones. Will be stopping here again and would recommend to anyone driving by or looking to stay the night

Great customer service this place is a must. I really recommend it anyone to take a moment and stop here. It's a family own business and the food is super fresh. Loved it.
