Soda y Heladeria Arenal

If you want good food, go where the locals eat. This is a great place to experience local cuisine. It's not too fancy, so it's great for the kids or family, and most importantly it's excellent food. Ice cream for dessert! We also took some empanadas to go for dinner that night. Friendly staff.

Great soda with delicious food and good price. Ceviche was wonderful and the platanachos are perfect. The place was so good that t we came back 2 nights in a row

This is a small soda with friendly service and great food. We ate here several times and it is a regular spot for locals and expats. The chicken chimichanga was my choice and was excellent-Tico style rice and beans with chicken inside a pan seared tortilla served with a crema and topped with avocado and tomatoes. Absolutely fresh and delicious. All very reasonably priced and with later hours, until 10 or 11 pm which was unusual for the area. Highly recommend for a quick meal or take out.

Great local soda with excellent service. Their Empanada arreglada and the Aztec soup are devine but really all we tried was great including their cassado with chicken.

Great food. Large portions. Chimichanga is a must.

After twelve weeks around CR, this is still my favorite Soda in the whole country. Casados and fresh fruit smoothies were perfect!

This is a very friendly soda with great food and very reasonable prices. There is outdoor seating and the hosts are following the protocols for sanitising very carefully. Highly recommend.
