Super nice and warm restaurant and very friendly staff with delicious food.

This is a fantastic location for food, coffee, and incredible service I usually eat the churrasco with mashed potatoes a strawberry smoothie and strong coffee

Best traditional food we have tried in Costa Rica. Amazing views and great atmosphere. Also good coffee.

We were recommended this place by a local as the best option in the area, better price and better quality than la georgina. The back side has a really nice small bar seating style sitting area facing the forest that is quiet and relaxing. The food was great. The place felt surprisingly upscale. The prices were reasonable.

Very good coffee and good food. They prepare everything fresh so they need their time. Also it's expensive. But good :)

Great stop close to the summit of the pan-American highway in Costa Rica, you walk in and it’s so much nicer then expected, great Latin jazz playing and the bread for our sandwiches were made fresh to order, never experienced that before, very good. Clean bathroom and very nice ambiance inside.

Great food, very pleasant English speaking staff, the native food was the best we ate in costa rica. Coffee was perfect.

Great little spot in the cloudforest! We stopped for some hot chocolate and they also have local pastries nextdoor! Very relaxed setting and the staff was very friendly

This place was such a great find! Fantastic service, great empanadas and pastries, lovely environment, and very clean. Also couldn’t be more convenient to stop at while driving to your next destination along the Pan American highway. Highly recommend!

Omg the food here was so good. The most solidly tasty meal my family and I had on our month long trip and a relief for my tummy trouble too in the Olla de Carne soup which was like something your grandma cooked all day because you weren't feeling good. The coffee was delicious too and decent service. Bring a jacket as this is the one area we were in where it was actually cold. Views were too cloudy to see when we went but I can tell it would be awesome if it were clear.

Similar to a lot of the reviews before. Very friendly staff and great place to stop for a cappuccino and empeñada. Also weirdly enough somewhat cold and beautiful area to make a pit stop at.

This delightful cafe offers fabulous home-grown coffee, large portions of typical tico fare, with wonderful customer service and an incredible view. The environment is reminiscent of the Alps or Canadian Rockies. A must try!
