Catarata Llanos del Cortés

10/10 would recommend. Some say it's crowded, but it was reasonable the day we visited. Gravel parking, public restrooms and changing rooms available. It's an easy walk down to the falls. Be aware there are freelance tour guides at the bottom of the falls. They'll bring you up to the top and to another pool while telling you a little bit about the wildlife, local plants, and the waterfall. They're not employed by the park, but the gentlemen we interacted with were kind and helpful, so we tipped them. The park entrance fee was ~$4-8pp, there is a child and senior rate. We brought a pack lunch and spent about 3-4 hours there. Our group age ranged from 8 to 80, and everyone had a great time.

There is a $7 usd entry fee at the gate. In the parking area at the top of the trail there are a few souvenir vendors.
I am so glad I found such a great spot. The water is cool and refreshing. The waterfall is beautiful! There is a sand 'beach' and lots of shade.
You can walk up to the top of the waterfall (trail is on the left hand side) for an impressive view.
There is also a little trail (branches of the trail to the top) that leads to a swimming hole that you can jump off the rocks/cliff into the water.
I can't wait to go back.

Gorgeous waterfall with a pool that's great for lounging! After coming from La Fortuna waterfall, this one was a far better experience. Although not as jungley, there were barely any people during the week and only took a couple minutes to get down to it from the parking lot. It can be an easy in and out or you can stay for hours. Well worth the trip

A bit of a hike down, but should be good for most. Restrooms and changing rooms at the top. The falls are beautiful and the water is refreshing.

Very nice waterfall with a large pool to swim in. We went on a Sunday which was very busy, mucha gente. However we were able to navigate to other parts of the waterfall where there were less people. There was also a water hole where you could do some cliff jumping, 3-5 meters high.

Very awesome place. The locals were awesome and even offered to take your photos. The river was a little grown due to recent rains, but it was still a beautiful view.

Gorgeous swimming hole and Jose one of the guides at the bottom was absolutely fabulous! There's the main waterfall and then a pool a bit if a walk down the river you can cliff jump into. The hike tk the top of the waterfall also very much worth it!

Great place with beautiful scenery and an amazing waterfall! It's definitely worth visiting. It's also very easy to find and also right off the main highway. Pretty cheap entrance fee as well with some nice little artisan shops on the walk down. Once you're down there you will be treated by local tour guide that can take you on a hike and up to the top of the water fall. There is not fixed price but a donation instead for their time. We didn't do the tour because we didn't have time but the guides seemed reputable and professional. I do have to warn you that there are little tiny fish in the water that swam up to me and nibbled on me few times. Very tiny fish and did not hurt it just startled me the first few times it happened.

Easy access, beautiful, it has showers and restrooms. You have to walk 100 meters from the parking lot to get to the waterfall. It has a small pool and is save for swimming. You can bring something to eat and drink, but you have to take your garbage with you when you leave.

Beautiful waterfall $7 entrance fee and a 5min walk down.
