Kunjani Cafe Dominicalito

Unbelievable! We stopped here for lunch 3 times during our stay in Costa Rica because the food was just absolutely delicious! The Ceviche and Kunjani Chicken salad were our absolute favourites though, so fresh and full of flavour. 100% recommend to anyone looking for lunch near by or passing through. We also had a slice of their lemon pie and a bar of their chocolate for a sweet treat and again both were fantastic.

We are staying in the area and we go here nearly every single day. Everything from the coffee, smoothies, breakfast and lunch has been amazing.

This isn’t grab and go. Prepare to settle in and enjoy the cute ambiance while you wait for whatever delicious thing you ordered.

Best breakfast I've had in Costa Rica. The skillet chorizo was excellent. Great location for us (at the bottom of the hill from our Airbnb). Very tasty mango collagen smoothie.

We stopped by chance at Dominicalita and saw the sign for this cafe. I Google reviewed it. A 4.9 rated what?!!! I must try!!! It was spot on I give it a 5 star. Delicious Thai chicken sandwich and basmati bowl. The anti inflammatory tea was also refreshing. Do take a drive to find this hidden gem!!!😊

The place opened about a week ago, the design is beautiful creat wonderful atmosphere, very clean. The food is delicious and of the best quality during the trip, the prices are completely reasonable and the service is excellent. I would give the place more than 5 🌟. I wish the place success.

Small quaint setting. Plan to take your time. Food was surprisingly wonderful and unique. Coffee was also very very good! Also check out the cute little shop next door.

First time stopping in for lunch - such a lovely place. Excellent, fresh and flavorful food and drink. The staff was also helpful and did a great job. We'll be back for sure!

A gorgeous hidden gem in Dominicalito that we most certainly will come back to - every year we travel here!

The food is delicious, the chef and staff are friendly and overall - it’s a great vibe and lovely location to have lunch with friends and family - even a date ;)

Don’t forget to try the coffee - my goodness me it’s like the beans are roasted by angels!

Safe off road parking and just a block off the highway, Kunjani has a beautiful indoor and outdoor patio setting with gorgeous wooden tables and colorful decor all around. Staff spoke English and Spanish and were perfectly attentive. The breakfast and lunch menu was diverse, with vegan, vegetarian abd gluten free options available as well and non-veg. I had the basmati bowl, which was a fresh salad with goodies mixed in for a burst of flavor in every bite - cashews, tomatoes, capers, black olives and more.

Bathrooms were very clean as well.

I will definitely be back!

Best Café in Dominical
I ordered the typical Gallo Pinto my kids got a fruit bowl and my husband ordered waffles that were made out of kale. Everything was really good. We would definitely recommend!

I still think about this Thai chicken sandwich sometimes and it’s been four months since we ate lunch here. I thought about it today and thought I should leave a review because it was so delicious. Friendly staff, yummy food, dog friendly.

A hidden gem in Dominicalito! Loved the atmosphere, decor, friendly people, and delicious food and drink. I had the green waffle Benedict - so good, and a tea latte. They brought a beautiful, cold bottle of water to the table. Much appreciated after my hike! New, modern, clean bathrooms. This appears to be a B&B as I saw rooms to stay in, and there is a yoga shala 🧘‍♀ on the property I am anxious to check out. Sorry I didn't take more photos. Come by and check it out. It won't disappoint.

Best breakfast place in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Breakfast for two was $28. They had authentic, native dishes and everything was fresh. They also know how to make a proper cappuccino too. All other places had watery espressos.

Perfect breakfast spot. Beautiful little garden setting, friendly staff and people. Helpful. We had the gallo pinto skillet and the charcoal waffle. Both were SO good. Everything is made in house (including the tortilla and sour cream) and it was made fresh to order and so tasty. I 100% recommend this little hidden gem.

Good gallo pinto, great smoothies. Service was good and there is a lot to look at while you are there...very artsy.

This was by far the best food and dining experience we had in Costa Rica. The service was friendly, timely, and responsive. However, what makes this place truly special is the food. The Thai Chicken Sandwich is otherworldly delicious. The Kunjani Chicken Salad was also excellent. The espresso is wonderful.
Very thankful we discovered this gem.

Great atmosphere, even better food & drink! We stopped in for lunch at Kunjani after a busy morning exploring Dominical for a much needed bite to eat.

The skillets we had were delicious and a waffle for dessert was just a little too tempting. Would definitely recommend a visit! (the new cocktails on the menu went down quite well too...)

It is a very special place for amazingly good food, fresh drinks in a beautiful designed location. The place is more than clean and the stuff the friendliest, we had in Costa Rica. Thank you! 🦋🌺💗
