Chateau Arenal Hotel & Restaurant

Rooms are dated, but for the money, a great value! Staff are friendly and wanting to please. Restaurant food is good and anticlimactic.
My team and I agree Chateau Arenal is a great spot when your looking for an inexpensive spot to stay!

Majestic place with great views, and lots to do around. Incredibly helpful staff We were greeted by Dylan, Ana and her husband. They were super friendly and super helpful with any of our requests and needs that we had. Even arrange transportation for us and our bikes to get it to our next stop. Definitely recommended And definitely will be back in the future.

Really loved our stay here back in February--all the staff was so kind and welcoming, food was delicious and so great to be able to wake up and walk down to grab breakfast without leaving the area. View of the volcano from the breakfast patio! Rooms were clean, beds quite comfy, AC was nice though not needed most nights (in February), and touristic stuff was close by. One of the best adventures we had was renting bikes down the road and biking towards a secret beach where there were wild horses (and a perfect view of Arenal). At the hotel, our favorite part was watching the neighborhood dogs down the hill play and wander. The whole compound had a sweet family-run feeling but still easy vacation vibes too.

Friendly and very helpful staff, simple but clean rooms in small huts on the hill and a nice view on the volcanos from your bed.

Great place, great alternative from Fortuna, quite little town. Great view from rooms, nice owner and grounds, saw 2 different kinds of toucans.

I only have good things to say about this hotel. The rooms are adorable and clean, the location is excellent with an amazing view, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely we staying again if we come through that area!

Excelente opción para salir de la rutina, la vista del volcán y el lago es increíble!!! además de un menú amplio, con buenos precios y los más importante delicioso. Ofrecen también hospedaje a un precio cómodo. La atención del personal y el propietario fue muy amable.

Grata sorpresa conocer este lugar! La ubicación es espectacular, con una vista maravillosa al lago y volcán arenal. El servicio es muy amable, el desayuno delicioso. La habitación cuenta con lo necesario para pasar un estadía agradable. Esperamos volver pronto!

L'un des plus beau bungalow de la fortuna avec une vue imprenable. Cadre idyllique au calme et dans la verdure.
Le personnel est très sympathique, serviable et souriant. Le petit dej est varié avec vue sur le volcan.
Nous avons également dîné dans le restaurant, c'était très bon. Un peu long en service mais ce n'était pas gênant au vue de la qualité des plats

Llegamos al restaurante después de pedir recomendaciones en la zona, resultó muy bueno, a precio muy razonable, además las personas que lo atienden de son muy amables y simpáticas. Nos sentamos en el balcón con una vista increíble al volcán y al lago.
