Great restaurant and bar on the water with phenomenal views!! We love this place and come frequently when we're in Costa Rica. Yummy food, service and a phenomenal atmosphere.

Beautifully rustic open-air bar/restaurant with terrific ceviche. Friendly; plenty of seating; located right at the beach; just at the entrance to Playa Herradura. Serving fishermen, beach lovers, and wanderers alike since 1957.

Great place in Herradura! Adriana greeted my friends and I with a cold beer to start, then we ordered the fish tacos (special order), the whole red snapper, and the fish ceviche.
The service was amazing and would definitely recommend 👌

We stopped by this bar on our way to dinner and had the absolute best time. The staff is so friendly and immediately greeted us with a cold beer and ceviche. Hands down such a great local spot to grab excellent food and great drinks!

We brought our catch (mahi-mahi) they were able to blacken it and cook up some sides (papas fritas and salad). The hosts were gracious and meal was superb.

We came to the beach just around the corner from Los Sueños and really enjoyed our time. After a little while we got hungry and came across the street to eat here. Food was good (and very well priced), staff was very friendly and really made us feel welcome. La Puesta de Sol was another one of our favorite memories in Costa Rica and we would love to come back again!

We stopped here for some beers for a couple of hours when our Zuma Tours boat to Montezuma got stranded at low tide. No complaints, friendly staff and cold beers - what more could you want?

Dennis and his staff helped my wife and I set up a happy hour here for our wedding guests. They were great. The restaurant itself is very casual and set up right on the beach. Super fun time. Good food as well!

We were down in Costa Rica in January 2018. So glad we found this Local Restaurant & Bar. Food & Drinks were outstanding. My husband went fishing and they cooked us up the best fish dinner I have ever tasted with our days catch. All the bartenders were so friendly that we returned almost every night for a night cap. I will definitely return again in the future. I want to thank everyone for making us feel so welcome we really enjoyed meeting all the locals😁👍

This place was great! Awesome getaway from the Marriot resort for better prices, drinks and food. Wonderful local vibe and great food that's a great alternative from Los Suenos. My girlfriend and I made it a point to come here multiple times during our trip for drinks and food as an alternative from the resort life. Highly recommend if you're looking for a local Costa Rican vibe and good food!

I went here for drinks a couple of times while staying at Los Sueños. I highly recommend stopping by to get away from the sterility of the resort for a bit during the day.
