Villa Caletas Hotel

The most incredible place to stay in Costa Rica. Most amazing views from everywhere in the room including the bathroom (highly recommend for sunset). Saw so much wildlife just sitting in our room. The shower has amazing pressure and temperature and the bed was very comfy. The staff is very receptive to any issues you may encounter and resolved them quickly. The pool and amphitheater also have the most amazing reviews. Only minor consideration would be that given the location, there will be some bugs that get in your room but nothing that was bothersome or wouldn’t be an issue with other places.

My wife and I have spent two wonderful vacations at this hotel. I cannot begin to explain how awesome this place is.
The attention to detail and professionalism of staff is top quality. The restaurants offer amazing food, displayed by a master chef. Lastly, the views. Every room we've stayed in has a view that goes on for miles. Great place to sit and just watch nature. Please visit this hotel if the opportunity arises.

This place is surreal. I had my wedding here in the amphitheater and it was a dream. Mariana took care of us and really was so helpful throughout our stay here. Will be coming back for our anniversaries for sure.

We loved our stay here. We had a really nice hottub on our patio with a great view and a big tree with cool birds. The pool has by far the most beautiful view we have seen in costa rica. Absolutely gorgeous property and views. We will be back again. We saw macaws and toucans on property. Food wad good too.

Yearly, I organize a couples' retreat in Jaco, and without fail, our couples are very impressed with the delicious cocktail (s) while enjoying the romantic sunset here. The waiters are also very kind and talented.

It is such a beautiful place the gardens and the pool. Just amazing . The service is just outstanding, manicured. Nested in the middle of the jungle with a breath taken view up on the ocean. Where is just marvelous. I love it there. Rooms are detailed. It is such a special treat the few times we spend there, It is really a distinctive place.

the kind of place you always imagine exist in your dreams, but it does exist in real life. Once in a lifetime experience to experience the Pacific sunsets setting as you sit in your the infinity swimming pool , with the sounds of birds and jungles nearby. Magical.

Jahaira at the front desk is so very helpful and gracious and provides such great customer service. This has to be one of the most romantic hotels anywhere in Costa Rica. I can't wait for my stay at Hotel Villa Caletas!

One of my favorite places in Costa Rica. Their infinity pool has some of the best views I've seen in the entire country. The hotel is very secluded high in the mountains thus day trips into town (Jacó) take about 20 minutes. The restaurant is excellent with an extensive menu and amazing views. I've stayed in the regular room, suite and the villas, all three were nice and quiet. The times I've stayed at this hotel, its mostly been adults, the hotel is kid friendly, but I really haven't seen many up there. This resort is perfect for long pool days as the bar service is excellent.

Sunset was unbelievable. Staff is accommodating. Everything in Costa Rica is a little slower. Their service was the fastest we had on our trip.

We rented an AirBnb for my 30th birthday in Jaco but after finding out what we rented was nothing like what we expected we quickly made arrangements to stay at Villa Caletas where we had reservations for dinner. When we got to the reception and explained what we had gone through with the other rental (on my birthday) they offered to upgrade us to a room with an even better view completely complimentary. They also brought out a beautiful piece of cake out for my birthday which was very special. This property cannot be described in words, it’s architecture, and small details make you feel immersed in the surrounding panoramic views. We woke up to local wild life flying right outside our balcony including pairs of scarlet Macaws and Tucans. The private beach was a great way to spend a relaxing day enjoying the water and sun privately compared to other surrounding beaches. You feel like luxury from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. Cannot recommend this hotel more to future guests. 10/10.

If you decide not to have supper there, you can just drive up to the Villa to watch the sunset in their amphitheatre.

I went to the restaurant which had the best sunset view of anywhere in the area. The food was awesome and the service was great.

Our room was #84. Breakfast via room service on the balcony every morning was heaven on earth. The snorkeling trip along with horseback riding to waterfalls were worth every penny. We plan to return soon!

My family and I come here occasionally to have an AMAZING sunset dinner. The food is excellent, the service is very helpful and friendly, and the decor and view are fantastic.

This place has the most amazing restaurant/hotel I have ever visited! Everything was fantastic. I can't say enough about the view that sits on the side of the mountain...just stunning!!

This place was absolutely stunning. The dinner and breakfast were perfect and it was so cool to swim in a private infinity pool on the balcony (that was actually more than 5 feet deep)! Very romantic and absolutely stunning. My only complaint was that some workers started chopping down a tree next to our room/walking on our roof at around 6:30 AM, but to be fair they weren’t alerted that there were guests there. Either way, I give them 5 stars because everything else was clean and nice!
