Arenal Roca Suites

Incredible location! It’s pretty remote so the roads aren’t exactly sedan-friendly, but that also means the views are incredible, you wake up to an orchestra of birds/critters, and you get a front-row seat to the Arenal Volcano. Be prepared for a bumpy road to get here, but it’s worth it!

A recommendation to other travelers: I would avoid booking suite 7, if possible. There’s a (beautiful/gigantic) tree that aggressively launches banana-sized seed pods (pretty much nature’s bean-bags) at the tin roof at all hours. Still a beautiful spot!

An extraordinary place. We spent more time there than we intended. The whole property consists of 7 bungalows placed in such a way that the inhabitants of each cottage can enjoy a beautiful view of the Arenal volcano. The cottage has everything you need - a kitchen equipped with cooker, coffee machine, fridge, dishes. Large bathroom with shower and hot water. A jaccuzie in the room with a view of the volcano and well-functioning air conditioning. Huge comfortable double bad. Safe is availble. Each cottage has its own terrace and car parking space. The whole area is in a place far away from civilisation, which, due to the quality of the road, is quite difficult to reach with a normal car (SUV preferred at least), but this has its advantages. The location away from busy roads ensures peace and quiet at night, with plenty of skylights flashing in the garden and surrounding forest at night. It is certainly a place for anyone who likes to take a quiet break from the toils of the day. At the same time, it is close enough to many tourist attractions in the area so that the journey does not take too long. The property is surrounded by a short walking path, allowing you to take a moment to immerse yourself in the wildlife that surrounds the property.

The view, quietness, and landscaping of the hotel was amazing. It truly felt like we were the only ones out there when in our rooms. Arith was great with providing everything we needed, including breakfast every morning. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. If you are looking for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna, you can't beat this place, especially for the price.
There were some small negatives: Our shower water was luke warm. We had ants that would get into any open trash, but we just tied it off every night to fix that. The drive is very rough, rocky, and bumpy to get to the property.

Epic place, you feel like you are in the rainforest, saw a toucan on our drive down there. You need a 4x4 to get here don't try with a regular car.

2 Breakfasr options they either bring a basket of food to your door or you can haveit at hanging bridges. Try both 😀

Wundervoll und beeindruckend. Mitten in der Natur waren wohnten wir ein paar Tage in einem von 7 Häuschen mit phantastischer Aussicht auf den Vulkan mit Terrasse und whirlpool. Morgens schlägt man die Augen auf mit diesem tollen Blick. Die Rezeption (1 separates Haus) ist ständig besetzt. Die Zufahrt ist etwas schwierig über eine steile Buckelpiste.
Die Ausstattung zum kochen ist nicht sooo toll. Das sollte man bedenken und vielleicht nach dem Ausflug gleich in einer der vielen Sodas essen.
Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen hier Urlaub zu machen.

Es un lugar un poco remoto, pero en la noche si vas a la terraza y apagas todas las luces se ven miles de luciérnagas. Acá no se escuchan carros ni ruidos de ciudad. Tienen un jacuzzi con vista al Volcán

Lugar recóndito con increibles vistas del Volcán Arenal, donde podreis ver multitud de animales salvajes y tendreis la máxima tranqulidad, la carretera para acceder no es la mejor, pero con un coche todoterreno no tendreis problemas, si necesitais taxi también se puede ir por unos 21.000 colones desde la Fortuna. Los jacuzzis son ideales para dos personas. La cocina está bien equipada y hay microondas y tostadora. Merece la pena pasar un par de noches aquí.

Ein großartiger Ort um die Gegend des Arenal Vulkans zu erkunden. Ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur, toller Ausblick auf den Vulkan (wenn auch nicht immer zu sehen durch die dichten Wolken) und super Service inkl. Frühstück. Definitiv ein Geheimtipp mit top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Certainement l'une des plus belles vues du volcan Arenal. Tout est magique, le cadre, le service et les suites très bien équipées. Je recommande vivement !
Ps : la nuit tombée nous avons profité d'un beau spectacle de lumières venant des lucioles.

Uno de los mejores lugares para hospedarse en la fortuna, el camino es de lastre pero entre con un corollita del 95 entró perfectamente, tranquilidad y paz total.
