Del Mar Taco Shop

We had a very nice dinner at ‚Del Mar Taco Shop‘! The restaurant offers a wide variety of different freshly made foods - also many vegetarian and even vegan options are available! We have chosen the Chips and Guacamole as a starter and the super veggie Burrito and the veggie/vegan tacos as a main dish and were definitely not disappointed. Everything from the nacho chips, the hot sauce over to the tortillas are made by themselves - and you can taste it!

The restaurant itself is an easy going location close to the beach. The service was super friendly, accommodating and we were warmly welcomed. Make sure to visit it when you are in the area for a tasty meal! In my opinion, one of the best burrito and taco I’ve ever had.

Best taco shop. We arrived on Taco Tuesday so all tacos were half-price, as well as all Imperial beer.

The staff is extremely friendly, loading us up with homemade corn chips and salsa while we waited. I ordered the shrimp tacos and was told that there was going to be an extra wait, because someone was just heading to the market to get them. They were extra fresh and they packed them in to each taco.

They also ran out of Imperial beer so they offered premium beer for the same price.

Everything was tasty. I highly recommend this excellent spot.

Best salsa and chips I ever had! The chicken tacos and steak quesadillas were also very good. There was a lot of guacamole on the tacos so beware. Service was good as well. Very friendly staff!

We just visited Del Mar Taco Shop with a group of 12, and they did fantastic. The power went out unfortunately due to heavy rain fall but the continued to make all our food in the dark and wrapped it up for us to take to go! They could not have been more accommodating. The food was tasty and they got it all correct. Would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Plus the patio was super cute and right by the beach.

Excellent tacos in dominical! Love the corn and flour tortilla chips that are served with the tacos. Guacamole 10/10!

We are here on Taco Tuesday. All tacos 1500, local beer 1000. They offered them on corn and flour tortillas which was great. Staff were very friendly and attentive. All outside seating so it was a little hot but it’s Costa Rica, so can only be expected. Also it was cash only which we were not aware of until we came to pay. They were fine about us calling at the atm up the road and coming back

Tremendous guacamole and homemade taco chips, followed by their delicious vegetarian, shrimp, and fish tacos. Highly recommend. Well worth your time and money, as it will not disappoint.

Fabulous. Best fish tacos I've had here in Costa Rica. Great service. We were there for Taco Tuesday, so ridiculously affordable beer and tacos. We literally saw the local fisher walk the shrimp into the restaurant. Local fresh hot sauce with their homemade chips. Soooo good.

This place is delicious. I've been here 2x and plan on stopping by again. The front guy is friendly and it doesn't take long to receive food. Highly recommend.

Fantastic for with awesome service. Tacos are loaded, burgers are huge. Chicken burger is killer with their house made kettle chips. I would eat here everyday if I could.

Amazing tacos near the beach! The prices were good as was the service. We got tacos which were great and super nachos which were really good as well. We’ll be back

Best tacos ever. I got the vegan tacos on a corn tortilla and it was so fresh and delicious. My partner got the chicken, beef, and shrimp tacos and he said the same thing — so dang good!

There is also a super great cat named Patches that hangs around and she's super sweet!

Definite recommendation and will be returning.

Easily the best place to eat in Dominical. We eat here 2 times and everything was spot on. The meat was grilled fresh right in front of us, the chips fried fresh, and the sourced locally and super fresh. Service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. Don’t come to Dominical and skip this place, you will regret it!!! 10/10
