Lori Restaurant

Lovely place and the food (all vegan) is amazing. It is a business runned by an Israëlian family and they really know how to cook proper food. We went here 3 times during our 2-night stay in Dominical, which highlights how much we liked it :).

New favorite restaurant. Pictured here is the hummus supreme with falafel and the shawarma wrap, super yummy. However, our favorite is what we ordered last time and ate too quick to snap a pic: the hummus supreme topped with shawarma and the falafel pita with fries. 🤤Their ketchup is homemade and everything is fresh and delicious. We also love the chai smoothie, the atmosphere, and service is very chill and hospitable. It doesn’t feel touristy. Definitely our new go-to spot. The boutique hotel behind is also very beautiful.

Hidden gem!!! Superb vegan food at a great location in Dominical. Lovely family with chef dad serving the best pita bread ever (get their signature legendary sandwich) they make their own tofu, cashew cheez, bread, everything from scratch! We loved their pizza as well! It was our first time trying sweet potato on pizza and it tasted yum.

Special Tip- Get the chef’s green zouk sauce (his mom recipe) and that will take the pizza to another level!

We also got the chocolate cake that was yum!

Definitely coming back for more!

I discovered Lori through the community group. They pride themselves on serving delicious vegan cuisine, and boy they are right. I myself is far from being vegan but food like this makes you forget about meat by-products. The trek up the mountain is better served with a 4x4. The views of the ocean are breathtaking. The owner and family are also wonderful and love sharing their food. So much passion can be seen in the environment and their cooking. Come here for the food and stay for the views…and possibly monkeys and toucans.

The best vengan restaurant i visit in all my life, this restaurant is one the places you have to visit if you come to Playa Dominical, you will love the food is amazing, try the homemade fries pleas!

Lori became my favorite restaurant in Costa Rica. The food is amazing, delicious, unique, creative, nutritious, healthy. You can tell it's made with love. Everything, from the bread to all the delicious meals, is homemade, vegan and organic. The atmosphere is wonderful, people that work there have great vibes, we had a beautiful time at this restaurant and we went back there several times. I can't wait to be back to Dominical so I can eat at Lori again. I had many things of the menu and love them all. The red health smoothie and the tahini smoothie are different from everything I've tried before, completely unique flavour and healthy.

The nicest family is running an all Vegan restaurant with a beautiful view! My boys & I had an amazing smoothie bowl & coffee and loved the service & food! The road seems questionable, but keep following the multiple signs along the way that show you how to get there. It is definitely worth visiting!!

Phenomenal dining experience! Breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and wonderful atmosphere and service. Best of all, the food is amazing. I had the Israeli breakfast and highly recommend trying it.

The voyage to Lori begins the sensation experience. Narrow winding roads up, around, down, and up again to the destination. A warm welcome greets you, a breath taking ocean view lures you in. The vegan menu, a cornucopia of flavors tempts you. The quality of the food is the reward. Best food experience we've ever had in the Country, second to none. The hardest part is leaving the unordered options untasted. Until next time.

Beautiful and intimate space - but completely unpretentious- warm and friendly service - and some of the best vegan food we’ve ever had - I mean EVER: The schnitzel sandwich on pita (I’ve never had schnitzel ever let alone vegan schnitzel - I’m hooked!) - the veggie burger - the falafel and hummus - all vegan staples but super flavorful - fresh from scratch and just the best! We ordered more pita to go - they make it so fluffy and it was just that good! We had an amazing peanut butter ice cream bar with raspberry jam for dessert. Delicious cocktails too. Even people who aren’t veg or vegan that we ran into during our vacation raved about Lori’s. Love this place!!!

LOVED the abundance of delicious plant based options. The owners took the time to chat with my husband & I when we had questions about the menu. They were very friendly, knowledgeable & clearly have a passion for food. And speaking of, our lunch was so darn good I even did a little happy food dance right there at our table. I’m vegan but even my carnivorous husband loved the food. So there you go, this is perfect to suit everyone’s palate😊

Amazing restaurant!! Definitely a must visit if you are near playa Hermosa. Incredible views, and spectacular food. This is a 100% vegan restaurant everything is hand made to order. I am not a vegan and this was my very first time eating vegan food, wow I was amazed. It was delicious. And the owners are so nice and accommodating. We sat had lunch and watched the whales 🐋 from our table. Great signage and easy to find, about a 5min drive off the main road. This place is very clean and a upscale vibe. 👍🏻👍🏻

What an amazing restaurant - the best spaghetti bolognaise I have ever had! A real range of foods but not overloaded. Service was incredible, friendly waiters, nice vibe, family run and reasonable price. Great for everyone, not just vegans. Could not recommend more - we are even heading back for breakfast in the morning as we wanted to try some of the breakfast dishes !

My partner felt this was the best food we've eaten during our 4 week tour of Costa Rica - hard to disagree. Super fresh with loads of flavour and delicately spiced. We had the burger, shwarma wrap and chai smoothie - all of which were amazing. Friendly service and chilled vibe. Check it out.

The best restaurant in Dominical and in the southern zone! Love their drinks, smoothies, red health bomb was bomb! The berry smoothie bowl was refreshing, and brought containers to-go with some savory curry and their famous hummus plate. Love that everything is plant based with vegan compassion, wish I lived closer!!

Absolutely loved this place for my birthday! Actual incredible food, sweetest service, and a lovely chill atmosphere. Highly highly recommend to everyone wanting healthy, delicious food!

Amazing food, and great atmosphere. The family is so very kind. I would highly recommend. Best hummus and pita bread I’ve ever had, the smoothies are so good and everything there is amazing. I will definitely go there again next time I visit.
