Ciudad grande, linda arquitectura, buena comida. Hay un teleférico que leva a un cristo en la altura. Pagas un impuesto como turista. Tiene un horario de bajada, de lo contrario tendrás que bajar por un camino de adoquines, que es muy largo, pobres rodillas.
Si necesitas cambiar de dólar a peso dominicano, prefiere los bancos, es mas seguro que los billetes no sean falsos.

Puerto Plata az egyik kedvenc helyem ! A Malecon nagyon szép , de magára a partra kicsit több figyelmet szentelnék , néhol ugyanis nagyon sok a szemét ! A bárok és éttermek szuperek , én szeretem őket , a bárok elött a partok rendezték !! Nyilván maga a tengerpart szerintem nem gyerekeknek való erősek az áramlatok , nagyok a hullámok , hirtelen mélyül ! De napozni , enni egy jót , vagy csak szimplán inni valamit a barátokkal nagyon szuper !

Langer Strand entlang des Malecons. Vorgelagert sind einige Inselchen. Im östlichen Strandbereich gibt es zahlreiche Casitas (kleine Restaurants, oft ohne Toilette), in die man einkehren kann.
