Beautiful historic hotel. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We wish that we had time to enjoy the pool, but our schedule was too full. We did enjoy the Royal Bar and the pool bar. The breakfast buffet was outstanding-well worth the extra cost

it is a beautiful hotel.more than a hundred years old. beds are soft and comfortable. it's clean and tidy. the rooms are well ventilated, the bathroom has great hot water and the shower is top quality. The room service is great it's sweet and fast. the restaurant is very chic and very clean and the food is great. they don't use plastic for drinking in glass it tastes much better. it,s really a palace it looks more like a palace than a hotel and very chic everywhere there are antique sofas where you can rest and beautiful table lamps there is nothing to complain about service inside and outside the hotel

If I had a husband I would spend my honeymoon for sure here because this is is my favorite hotel ever. You can understand only if you come here. Reading in the royal bar with a hot chocolate was an amazing moment. The gardens and the swimming pool are my definition of happiness and the breakfast is also very good with a huge buffet and fresh pancakes, waffles or eggs! The history and look of this hotel makes all its charm and please never change it! I hope I will come back in not too long.

THE BEST HOTEL IN EGYPT! Truly I felt wonderful in this palace. The person who made our stay PHENOMENAL is Ms. Esraa! Truly felt like royals when she treated us with special cakes and an amazing room upgrade. The cleanliness, the safety, the friendliness is top notch. If you’re visiting Luxor, make sure that you stay at least a night. They have also a wonderful garden and Nile view that will take your breath away. The food buffet that had the grills was excellent. We loved the flute entertainment, the grills and the friendliness of the staff.
I also loved how they’re taking good care of preserving the palace that is over 150 years old! We also loved that at bed time they served us Anise drink, chocolates and eye mask to make our sleeping experience like a royal!
So check out the Royal library that has books of King Farouk and rare books.
I do hope to return on day again! Many thanks again to Ms. Esraa’s kindness, professionalism and friendliness!

Very nice stay at the hotel. We enjoyed so much the historical atmosphere and the Egyptian touch. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. The garden behind the hotel was cozy and good to have a walk or read a book.
Definitely suggested. Price is higher than other hotels in Luxor but worth visiting.

This place is one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in across the globe.
Architecture, history, cachet, service, the grounds, the view.

The service was the best part. From the bell man, the reception, concierge, bartender; everyone was beyond amazing.

Memories I’ll cherish forever. Thank you to Selim and all of his team

Very quiet location with beautiful pool. The rooms are very comfortable and there are also some family rooms with a door in between the kids and parents room. Make sure you ask for a room facing the garden to enjoy the view as well. The welcome on the first day was really nice even though we arrived at 1.30 am. We met with Esraa and Esraa and had a very nice chat with them. They are very professional and lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful, historic hotel in Luxor. The location is great, right next to Luxor temple. The building is beautiful, the gardens are lovely, and our room was spacious with high ceilings. Food wasn't terribly great here (specifically breakfast and the fine dining establishment 1886) but the hotel is lovely!

This has got to be one of the most magical places to stay. A wonderfully relaxing place with some of the best staff I've ever encountered.
The airline lost our luggage and with the amazing dedication of the check in staff we had it returned in a few hours.

What a wonderful place to stay at. The rooms are cleaned every day and kept tidy. The pool area is well looked after, the pool staff are very friendly and will always lend a hand. The pool bar and restaurant is well managed with very efficient staff and you just feel relaxed there. The same goes with the breakfast area with the chefs that make delightfull crepes and omletes. I especially enjoyed the bananna with honey crepe. Finally, the check in staff are always there to help with a special mention to Ola. She always had a smile and nothing was a bother. Thank you to all the staff that made my experience one to remember.

I can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here, but everything else about this place is really special. It just oozes style and character. Book early or, like us, you'll just be day visitors. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is a historic masterpiece, with a special mention for the magnificient exotic gardens with flamingos and rare fragrant trees. The swimming pool is very relaxing and elegant after a long day of sightseeing. The facilities are sometimes slightly outdated, but full of Victorian charm and so iconic... A special mention for the Head Concierge / Duty Manager at the Pavillion, Mr Mohamed Ali, who managed to arrange a private dinner for our group of twelve in the Victorian lounge after the receptionist messed up our initial restaurant booking. Thanks for a wonderdul stay

Amazing one, the eldest hotel in Luxor with the high-level service. I would like to say special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Ahmed from Reception who met my request regarding the room. Due to his professionalism we enjoyed our stay at the hotel from our first minutes.
My advice is to prefer Nil River view room because this view is really incredible and sunsets on the balcony are truly unforgettable.
Also I'd like to mention a la carte restaurant with French cuisine. Definitely must visited. Please, we aware of dress code there and enjoy the delicious meal and high-class service.

This historic hotel features extensive gardens, grand hallways, vast outdoor pool and updated European bathrooms. The food is good, we enjoyed the Egyptian BBQ one evening featuring very good food and service. The buffet breakfast was less enjoyable but still very nice. Some parts of the hotel look tired and the service at the pool could be better but overall a good experience.
