Steigenberger Resort Achti

Our group enjoyed our stay at this property. While all of the staff were helpful and pleasant, two stood out. Ahmed on the front desk was exceptionally accommodating, we really appreciated his help. And Karriem at the Italian restaurant is a great and polite young man.

Such an amazing beautiful resort! I would highly suggest this place over all the others. There are so many options and they make you feel like royalty. The service is the most superb I have ever had. The food all around was soo good! All of the staff were more than accommodating. The buffets were fantastic! The rooms were spacious and super comfy.

Amenities are greats. Asked the guest service for one way water taxi from west to the east side of the Nile river, quoted me 600 pounds which actually cost only 200, 200% service charge!

Perfect location, perfect staff (Ahmed made our stay unforgettable in the way he arranged my request👍🏻💪🏻!) especially connecting us to Hammam (no i will not call you Felix😜) for a private boat ride at sunset on his boat the "bride of the Nile" In one word: AMAZING🤩

Absolutely great place to stay by the Nile. Slightly away from the main city center and other hotels but worth a stay. You get a beautiful view with full breakfast. Good value for money!

This Steigenberger Hotel is set in a stunning location with a backdrop of the Nile framed by agricultural areas, palm trees, gardens, boats and the mountains. There are 2 well-maintained swimming pools, one large one at the front on the lower terrace with an adjacent bar, and a smaller stylised and more secluded pool area at the back. There is a choice of restaurants, 2 bar areas, manicured gardens, a walkway with a few shops and it's close to Luxor Town centre with taxis and local transport outside the security gate. There is an aura of old-fashioned courtesy, and the service is impeccable, with the main restaurant run in the evenings by a very professional Manager. We had a quiet room with very comfortable beds and a seating area overlooking the pool and sunbeds. The hotel was everything you would expect from a luxury brand and was spotlessly clean.

Lovely stay at this lovely hotel. Service was great allowing for late checkout and bag storage due to incompetent airlines delaying our flights. Staff polite and helpful. My only feedback is to regularly rotate breakfast options and open the gym again

My stay here was excellent. The resort is relaxing, with plenty of greenery. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, not to mention the breathtaking view of the Nile.

Moreover, the service was top notch. We were welcomed once we set foot into the resort, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. In particular, the manager Moustafa was courteous and professional, and provided all the assistance we needed and more.

Overall it was a great pleasure staying here and I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay at Luxor!

We had an incredible stay at the Steigenberger Achti. The view of the Nile River in the evening was absolutely stunning, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The customer service is exemplary and the staff really go out of their way to help you. Two pools to choose from so bring a bathing suit. We were only here for one night but wish we could stay for a week! Khodary from the bar was amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

Very nice hotel with everything you need in one place! View of the great Nile from the balcony, very good breakfast, clean rooms, very kind and staff specifically the cleaning staff. We needed a Dr and they had one in place within 20 mins. This is what I call a great service and a complete hotel. 20 mins from valley of the kings! A must booking in Luxor!

We loved the Nile view here..the staff was really helpful and they were always smiling 😊 specifically Ramadan in the restaurant he was very decent.

Very friendly staff, lovely rooms and great location for tourism. A young lady called Nashwa was especially kind, ensuring my comfort while I waited 2 hours for my driver (this was all after I checked out).

We stayed three nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful. we felt very safe and everyone was very helpful and warm to us specially one who called Mary in reception she is really sweet. The food was very good. pool along the Nile topped off with an enjoyable breakfast. Thank you!

Wow! I have to remove stars from other hotels in Egypt now... because here is actually what a 5 star hotel/resort looks like! Right in Luxor, which is excellent, my favourite place in all of Egypt! My perception of Egyptian hotels was always that one had to remove 1-2 stars to any rating you see online to really know what you are going to get... but not here! Here, this is 5 star excellence!!! They put the gold in Gold Class! The staff are superb! The most courteous people in all of Egypt that I have ever come across. They are so elegant and professional! The one gentleman that did my check-in is gold class all on his own, each and every time he helps me with something. The admiration I have for the hotel staff at Reception and Cleaning is beyond words. Amazing!!! As a guest, you are their Nr1 priority every single step of the way, but with Gold Class service and professionalism. You know, the cleaning staff will simply not get in a lift if they see a guest, they push the button and make sure you get where you need to with the most elegant behaviour ever. They are so nice. Reception is the first point of contact, and this, for me, really made a massive impact. Again, that gentleman is Gold Class... none of that "trying to hard" or "sales pitches" and random stuff you see at other hotels... It's pure elegance.. pure perfection... if I had a hotel, I'd hire hire and make him the manager to let everyone learn from him. You feel like you have arrived in paradise here. Will I be back? 100000%, I'm not even going to try any other hotel in Luxor, I'm booking straight here all the way! This hotel/resort has my highest recommendation and thebonly place in all of luxor I will recommend without a shadow of a doubt. Amazing people work here. It's an amazing place, an amazing location, and I can't wait to come back. I'm not even going to Cairo again. I'm just going to fly straight to luxor and come to this resort, stay for a minimum of 1-2 weeks, with its awesome people, awesome service, and pure heavenly perfection!

Great resort, I'll definitely come back, there was an old gentleman in the pool who was super kind and always assisted me with all sort of things and in general the staff was very kind!

We celebrated a birthday at the Italian restaurant and our waiter, Mahmoud, went above and beyond to make it special and memorable. He played birthday music, brought a huge piece of cake for us to share, and even supplied a candle.
