We were so glad we checked this place out! We thought this was an absolute gem. Loved the atmosphere inside; cabin style where we were gripped by a wave nostalgia of summer camps or a warm cabiny feeling on a winter's day. Really cozy and welcoming. The food was delicious! We tried the pea soup as well as the meatballs and could not get enough of both. Definitely a must stop, you will leave with a full belly and warm heart.

The food was really good, and hot chocolate and the ambient of a wooden cabin all combined to some very cozy vibes 😃

This restaurant house is very old and beautiful. The food is good and the price is reasonable (not expensive).

Awesome wooden building. It has been built by frontline soldiers in eastern Carelia during the war and then transported to Turku and erected at its current place. There is a restaurant, have a coffee and a donut or if hungry they serve lunch also.

Absolutely worth a visit.

Favorite place we visited during our trip to Turku. Felt so homey and cozy. The perfect place to get a warm meal after we hiked in the chilly national park.
