What a lovely pub. Such a warm welcome from Richard and Jo. Great selection of real ales. Had 2 very nice pork pies. Fire was lit adding to the atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.

Such an amazing pub, a wide range of beers and ales. Especially the Lilleys mango cider (my favourite). The landlord and landlady are so lovely and welcoming. If you want a dog friendly, great pub, good atmosphere and friendly staff who serve great beer then this is the place 👌 massive shout out to Jo and Rich for always making us welcome and making the pub great again.

Lovely place with a great selection of drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful when I was deciding what to have to drink, offering recommendations which made it easier to choose what to have. The pub is dog friendly and very cosy inside. I would definitely recommend and will be returning very soon to sample some more of what they have on tap.

Under the new management of Richard and Jo, this pub has been turned around. Lots of new ales each week and a fabulous welcome. Would highly recommend.

Richard and Jo are a welcome change after the last two useless landlords! The atmosphere is finally back and the beer is great. Well worth a visit nowadays.

What a lovely little pub with a great selection of ales.

Kelly and Matt are doing a fantastic job. I'd refused to step foot in this building we ith the previous owners and staff but the atmosphere these guys have created is wonderful no matter what day on the week.

This is my favorite place.
Great staff, management, and atmosphere whatever night we visit.
It's like home from home, but with well kept beer and fabulous food 👌

Lovely Sunday Roast, great, friendly staff and landlord.

Charlie and team are brilliant, never a dull day at the Tap! Beer is good, with a vast range, ask the staff about any and they will always give good advice. Food is spot on and is balanced quite well with the type of pub and clientele it attracts (middle class mostly).

Really nice pub. Only had a tea, but was lovely. The little garden and tented area are a bonus. Clean and comfortable. The staff member we spoke to was really nice. The loos were great too. Will go again.

Real ales from the local area, food to please everybody and a friendly atmosphere at any time of day or night!
My favourite pub for miles and my only wish is that I lived within walking distance.

Lovely friendly pub and they let dogs in the bar as well and nice beer garden

Really enjoyed the ales from local brewery. Hope the gingerbread stout is still on when we go back. Fortunately didn't have to book as they accept walk in during the current restrictions. Another safe place with social distancing and table service only in place. Support local businesses.

Lovely place with separate areas that are still part of the main pub. Great 'open mic' session in an intimate setting. Very welcoming place and a very nice guest stout beer on tap too. Will definitely be back.

Great pub Charlie and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great selection of real ale. The burger was the best I’ve had in ages and superb chips. Can’t wait for the next visit.
