Slate House Farm Glamping Pods

We stayed in our motorhome on the CL sight. Cold water tap, elsan waste point and electric hook up available. Lovely views all around and a good location. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us as it was very windy and wet. But with the benefit of an electric hook up We were warm and comfortable. Definitely would return, but hopefully when the weather is good 🌞

Stayed here few weeks back with my husband and dog. It was absolutely amazing. Thankyou for having us.
The owners helped us with more wood and coal for the bbq and went above and beyond.
They are they most lovely people ever.
I can’t wait to book back again .
I was going to extend my stay but my husband got called into work.
We will be back very soon.
So peaceful and lovely. The pods have everything you could want.

The owners at the picturesque spot were very accommodating when we needed their help. The pods were small but perfectly formed with all the facilities contained within. A very comfortable bed and the kitchen had everything we could have needed.

We stayed in August - our family booked all 4 pods - 7 adults , 3 children & 5 dogs 🐾 & we had a truly wonderful break! Well equipped Pods - everything you need & thoughtful extras like marshmallows, welcome tea / coffee . The owners Trevor , Sandra & family were absolutely delightful & couldn’t have done enough for us showing us around their amazing farm ! We all enjoyed it so much we have booked twice already for next year! Highly recommend to everyone! Thank you 😊!

Clean & spacious pods. Sandra & Trevor are very welcoming. Lot of animals for kids & lovely pubs nearby. Will definitely visit again & cannot recommend it enough x

The pods were really nice and cozy. Equipped with ensuit, kitchen, TV, and small fridge. The bed was good for one adult and two kids, there was also another single bed/sitting. But we really enjoyed the outside bonfire and barbecue area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was raining continuously so they provided us DVDs to keep kids engaged. They also provide extra BBQ coal bags and wood for bonfire.

Last minute mothers day weekend absolutely wonderful, pods super clean fully equipped beautiful views.
Lots of animals on site great for the kids and they provided marshmallows for the fire overall great stay and really good communication with the owners definitely will book again 😀

Owners are great friendly people. The pod was immaculate with everything you could ever need even tea coffee and milk for the first few cups and the all important marshmallow for toasting on the firepit and the logs are provided.Heater provided for the cold nights in September which was when we stayed. Dog friendly site will definitely be going back.

Sandra and Trevor are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. It was my husbands birthday and they had put balloons and a banner in our pod. They'd also left a birthday card and 2 cup cakes with a candle in. The pod was perfect with everything you need, including half a dozen eggs from their hens, tea/coffee, some milk and marshmallows, firewood and firelighters for the fire pit. Each pod has it's own picnic bench, bbq and plastic chairs for out on the decking. With all that, beautiful peaceful surroundings and livestock and horses in the field you couldn't ask for, or get, better. We will definitely be back.

Myself and my partner stayed here for a relaxing break over the weekend. Sandra and staff were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The pod was warm and cosy and had everything we need. We also really enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the campfire too! Thank you so much.

Very homely and welcoming. Arrived to fresh milk, eggs and marshmallows. All fresh bedding and plenty of towels too. My 2 year old loved seeing the horses, sheep, goat and chickens. All you need for a great glamping experience

Back from a beautiful weekend away at Slate House Farm. The pods were amazing very clean and had all you needed for a weekend away.
Sandra and her partner were lovely helped in any way they could to make your stay comfortable. Dog friendly and our Benji loved it. Thanks Sandra we will be back.

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pods were very well equipped and Sandra had gone the extra mile to make sure they were cosy and home from home. Couldn’t fault anything! We will definitely return! Thank you Sandra!

Perfect! We live 40 mins away but we felt that we could have been a million miles away from home. So remote, pods so well equipped, really friendly welcome, perfect place for a rest from reality. Been to Bakewell & just off to look at the donkeys & light a camp fire to toast marshmallows! Book ! You'll love it!

Were here now and it's a beautiful location, secluded. Bring a football and a bat and ball for kids and they love it. There's a gorgeous friendly horse which greets you every day. Definitely recommend

Was brilliant they had everything we could have needed. Sandra and Trevor are lovely and so helpful. The kids loved toasting the marshmallows and had lots of space to play and run around in. would definitely come again

Just come back from a 2 night break and want to come back already. The facilities were great plenty of room and we couldn’t ask for more . The staff were polite and very friendly definitely coming back soon. We will be sure to recommend you.

The pods are fantastic, beautiful area and views good value, only criticism I have is two pods had friends in which at 2am are still messing around and singing and shouting it's a iittle unfair on the others you should put something up about quite times but overall great place

Lovely pod well equiped loads of little extras lovely hosts secure for children& doggies bonus en suite will be back next year. Not far from matlock for a nice day out. Couldnt fault slate house farm. Keep up the good work 😀😀😀
