Nativo Coffee Shop

Great coffee and breakfast/brunch space. We love their open kitchen. You can see the cleanliness and the eye for detail and presentation. It's fantastic to see this level of ambition in this small lake side town.
The coffee was great but I'd recommend them to add a flat white to the menu for those who like less milk and more coffee.
But you can easily order that.

Just look at the beautiful food. I hope these guys do really really well.

Really a great find just by walking down a quiet stretch of street. Excellent food and presentation amazing. Small but healthy menu options. Those people also eating around me their food also looked great. I don't drink coffee now as given up but was a coffee addict and I still recognise a good coffee when I see it and they definitely served up good coffee. 5 tables plu a bar with stools. Highly recommend going there.

Stumbled upon this cafe / coffee shop a few days ago and vowed to return. Today just banana cake and a mocha; both superb. Owners name is “Freddy” and is very personable, forgiving of my poor Spanish, and an excellent English speaker. My quick conversation with him tells me he is caring and considerate with a deep love for his Guatemalan countrymen and humans as a whole. I am here in San Juan for two more months and I will be back to sample their food and just to relax with great Guatemalan coffee. 🙏🏻❤🙏🏻

Had dinner at this wonderful local coffee shop. The avocado toast was a meal in itself with generous portions and comes with a smoothy on the side. The atmosphere is lovely and the coffee top class.

The coffee here is absolutely delicious. We had a large group come through, and they did a wonderful job of serving us.

Amazing food. Great vegan/vegano options if you modify your order. Drinks were also amazing!

Great cafe just a short walk from the main dock. Food was incredible and coffee was one of the best I had in the area.

Every aspect of this place is perfection, even down to the lemonade. The owner has worked hard to create such an amazing establishment. They're gonna need more tables and chairs because everyone is learning that this is the best café in town.

I've been in San Juan for about a month and Nativo is by far my favourite food here! We come here all the time for the avocado toast, and the chocolate frio is probably the best I've ever tried in my life. The staff is so friendly, the food is fresh, and the vibe is so cozy (and laptop friendly as well when you order food!). Fredy is so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the culture and history too, he's very friendly. Can't recommend enough :)

Everything here tastes amazing. We had the avocado toast but wanted to try everything. Hand made lemonade with herbs is excellent.

My girlfriend and I are staying in San Juan and this is by far our favorite breakfast place we have tried in all of Atitlan. The food is amazing and the owner Freddy is so nice and loves to chat. We always get the avacado toast and we can’t stop going back.
