Camp KARGITA

The camp is located jn a wonderful location. We came with our dog, who was very welcome in the camp, which is a big plus - they also have very nicely arranged dog shower. The market is quite small but has all the essentials. There is also an area for cooking/barbecue with wooden planks, great in case of rain. Kudos to the friendly stuff, the toilets and showers are impeccably clean. The location of the campsite is perfect for exploring the surroundings by canoe. Sunset are magic here. Trees provide good shade, also great for families. I very recommend :)

This is an amazing place. We found it by chance and felt in love immediately. The owners are great and the staff very professional. The whole camp is very clean. The restaurant in the camp is a small masterpiece and its by far the best restaurant on the whole island that we ate.

Beautiful camp, perfect location with friendly staff and very clean bathrooms. Tent area has a lot of natural shade and the beach is very nice. It is surrounded with amazing nature, so you always have something new to discover.

Super family camp. For sure the best choice for a family with kids on Dugi otok. The market has all the basic needs. Most of the camp is in the shadow. The also have common cooking area. The beach is small but great. Highly recommend.

Clean toilets, great beaches near by and very frendly stuff.

A really nice camp, lots of shadow, dog friendly!!. A small shop with the bare necessities, which is enough, great little beach side restaurant (the octopus was amazing), the staff are friendly and helpful, a common place with capacity to cook, open fire places you can use to prepare your own fish (a guy comes in to the camp every three days, you can buy it off of him for a reasonable price). The whole island is beautiful, and it is an island where you need to bring a book and/or a bike, because there is nothing else to do. Which is good.

Amazing, but not too big camp, so it's a bit crowded. Service is great, camp stuff was helpful and plesent. It's perferct for families, but anyone who enjoys camping will love it. Beach is also beautiful, combination of rocks and pebbles with clear sea.

Really nice campsite at a beautiful location and lots of shade. The campsite is well organised and the facilities are kept really clean. WiFi was not working while we were there but we did not mind.

Omg and the traveled length of the wind is a bit of a friend there with us while ensuring that we live at the highest level of service

Camp Kargita is one of the best small to medium size camps in Croatia I have visited. I have been there several times and could see how this campsite is growing and enhancing their amenities and services. The staff is great, very helpful and open to every guest. The place has expanded it's beach bar seats on to a wooden terrace and relieved more place to accommodate in the restaurant which serves next to traditional meat dishes also freshly catched sea food specialities. Besides the overall beauty of the Dugi Otok the campsite offers perfect location with a beach suitable also for small children. There is also a lighthouse in the neighborhood with friendly guard selling price worth freshly harvested vegetables. I recommend every one to visit

Wonderful place - quiet, great beach, the pitches right by the sea have to be some of the best in Croatia. Will come again!

We visited Dugi otok and camp Kargita delighted us at first sight - clean, tidy, with a small garden, lots of showers (indoor and outdoor), outdoor kitchen, beautiful beach next to the camp, shade of pine trees, table tennis, volleyball court, market with reasonable prices and children's playground!

In front of the camp you even a restaurant and a cafe .. Like a small town!

A big big recommendation!
