Absolutely lovely food and experience, went there twice within three days. They really understand cooking with truffles - just the right amount of flavours. Would have tried the whole menu if we could. The views at sunset are amazing and the staff is absolutely wonderful. The curious cats add their own touch to the experience!

Outstanding restaurant. The food was good, fresh and well prepared, the ambience cute, cozy and peacefull, with an amazing view of the valley. Everything was great except the service. The service was EXCEPTIONAL! The waiter was super polite, professional and attentive. He explained all the food and wine he was serving and made sure that the experience was superb. It was really one of the best service i have ever had in a restaurant.
Thanks for the fantastic dining experience. We will surely be back if we return to charming Motovun.

Highest recommendation here. Beautiful view, excellent service, and quality food. Usually a good view precludes good food, but here they have achieved it. Fresh truffles were very pleasant. We had the bacalao, tuna salad, truffle pasta, and truffled eggs. The food was a little heavy perhaps for the warm day, but I ordered it, and with the truffles it was worth it. Thanks!

Firstly i must recommend the service. Hands down the best and KINDEST staff i came across in Croatia. The dining there was an absolute joy and the staff enhanced the whole experience.
You can't really go wrong with the food. The taste was exquisite. I'm usually not a big truffle guy. But man oh man they've certainly turned me around.
Try to go there in the evening as the sunset gazing adds to the taste.

Well, what we experienced in this restaurant was pure excellence.
The waiter’s appearence was very very friendly and very professional. Pure passion for his job and living the excellent way for customer experience.
Firstly, the water was served with a seperate glass with icecubes and lemon to make it the way we like it. Secondly, we got homemade bread with truffle cream and homemade olive oil.
The main courses we‘ve ordered were also very delicious. To sum up: we would give 10 of 5 stars if possible and really really can recommend this restaurant. We‘ve enjoyed it to the fullest. Thank you very much.

Excellent black truffle meal with impeccable service at the terrace! We were also served with homemade bread and black truffle flavored cheese, which is surprisingly delicious. Don’t forget to try the olive oil from local! Highly recommend.

By chance we came across this restaurant and it was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, especially all the dishes with truffels in it. My girlfriend and I can strongly recommend this place!

Great place with exquisite domestic cuisine, very friendly and professional staff. We enjoyed every bite, you really can taste that the food is all domestic made from ingredients from local domestic producers. And house ice cream is just unforgettable!!!

The food was absolutely excellent. Service, honestly was the best we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Samir, our waiter was very well informed on the menu items, great with suggestions and pairings and highly professional. We ate as a party of 10 and everyone was happy. Our kids were so happy, that they even tipped in their own money. Highly recommend eating at this restaurant. The special celery soup with truffle of this evening was amazing. Also, it sounds a little weird but the ice cream with truffles was delicious. We ordered two.

Had the most amazing meal from the white truffle menu. Vranac the waiter was awesome, impeccable service. The food was so tasty and well cooked. Highly recommend this place. Excellent food, wine and service.

Really nice atmosphere. I recommend comming here at sunset with your SO, really romantic. Food was great, meat especially. If you are looking for some traditional Istrian meals with truffle, this restaurant has that as well. The waiter was really polite and attentative. Everything I mentioned here, especially because of the waiter, made us come back to Motovun and this restaurant the second time in 3 days.

I can only concur with many other reviewers here, the service was impeccable.
The food (we had starters and mains) also arrived in perfect timing.
Given that Motovun is truffle Central, we chose dishes that prominently featured then and were not disappointed.
It was absolutely incredible, I've never seen so many truffle pieces on a dish. They're covering the food with like it was parmesan!
Definitely the best homemade pasta with truffle sauce I've had in my life.
Can also recommend to pair truffle dishes with local white wines they have on the menu (Tomaz wines, the winery is actually only a couple minutes away from Motovun).

Hands down an absolute feast, would drive all the way up from the south of Pula again just to have food there.
Extra bonus points for the breathtaking view you have when sitting on the terrace.

Edit: Went a 2nd time, and it was just as incredible as the first time. If you're not a fan of truffles, try the pork loin in plum sauce. Very well received by the other party.

Stumbled upon this place with an incredible view across the valley mid way through a hike from Kaldir. The truffle pasta was incredible and that’s saying something as I’m not the greatest fan of truffles but though I should try as we were in the area. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, would highly recommend stopping by!

When you leave this restaurant, you really don't regret the money you spent there, the atmosphere and the people who work there are a real antidepressant for the body, simply a place you have to visit

We had a delicious stater and Leila, who served us our dish was really super nice and showed us her friendly face the whole time which made our experience in this restaurant even better, not skipping of course to mention the mind- blowing flavor of truffles in the cream cheese 👌🏼

Home-Made bread with olive oil on the house. All was home made and tasted really wel. The rest of the food was great too, high quality meat. In my opinion one of the best mixed grills I had here in Croatia. The side dishes were also very good. We even got a little home made “schnapps” for free to complement our desserts. Great experience
