Thermal Hotel Visegrad

We stayed here for a weekend in June 2023, the first time in the hotel. We got a newly refurbished (?) room on the first floor with a view towarsds the Danube. You can't actually see the river from the trees, but there is a panoramic view of the hills on both sides. I think the hotel looks very nice and fresh. The entire property looks well maintained, lots of greenery, small playground for the kids tucked away under the trees. There is a grill area that was renovated and closed.
I was very satisfied with both the dinner and breakfast selection. We always managed to find food that we liked.
The wellness area looks a bit older than the rooms. Maybe in the winter I would feel that it is on the small side, but we had good weather and spent all or our time in the outdoor pools. There was plenty of space, and they did not feel cramped. I liked the greek/roman/arabic mixed feel of the sauna section. I did not use them other than the sauna infusion session. I have been to a few, but these were different and always just a few guest attended. More spacious and relaxed despite the smaller sauna.
Maybe clean the airvents in the massage rooms. I was looking at how dirty they were as I was laying on the message bed.

Fantastic thermal baths and saunas, and amazing wellness centre with every treatment you can think of!! Everything is very clean and well-maintained, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is located at the Danube Bend surrounded by a lush forest. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation!

Wonderful spa hotel with amazing facilities. Set in a beautiful, mountainous location overlooking the Danube river... lovely place to have a relaxing escape. Stayed for 2 nights and the buffets across breakfast, lunch and dinner were absolutely delicious with many varieties of traditional Hungarian food as well as other cuisines.

I want to give 4.5 stars but that’s not possible. The location is amazing, great views, the staff is very professional and helpful, the food is good, the wellness is decent. My only complaint is that the pool that goes outside is not warm enough in the winter. An atleast 34 C pool would have been nice outside.

Thoroughly enjoyable hotel with good spa facilities. Food selection is excellent and is so tasty. Great for those wanting to try a Hungarian menu.

Nice hotel with an awesome wellness center. I always enjoy the Saunas, massages and facials. The indoor and outdoor pools are fun as well. I will definitely return.

I spent here one night and enjoyed the small but exellent spa. A small quiet place mostly with families. I liked the food and the service as well.

beautiful view with a quite and air conditioned rooms. fuud is top on with a huge selection for all day. swimming pool are just awsome and saunas just incredible modern and staff very helpful

Everything was fine, great place to relax.
Many different ways to spend time. Loved the food, especially the way it is served.

Clean rooms, great foot, super service. Only prices of drinks are high. Ofcours we will come back again.

Second stay in one year and again satisfied. Unfortunately, there was some problem with outer pool, which must have been closed in past days.

An elegant, pleasent hotel with delicious food, spatious and well-equipped rooms, nice staff, as well as with an excellent wellness department.
