Sunyaragi Cave Park

If you love historical places with a hint of mystery, this should be on the top of your list!

General ticket costs IDR 15.000,-. However, ticket for students is cheaper, only IDR 10.000,-. Visiting this place on weekends won't be a big deal. It is pretty spacious and you will find lots of photo spots (beautifully taken to fit on your Instagram feeds).

One tips, bring your umbrella as it could get pretty hot here. Whew.

What a beautiful sites with full of history. The façade is unique yet still wonderful. Later we know that this place used to be full of water and a sacred place to meditation. Best time to visit is at morning or late afternoon.

Nice place.. The officer will let you choose with or without guide.. I suggest you take the guide since they are expert in telling stories about the place. They also can recommend you great spots for taking photos. Overall, very good place to be visited..

Goa Sunyaragi is a Cirebon's Sultanate heritage. I think it's a religious tourism place, so better use your proper clothes😊

Its a good attraction. I’d recommend to go early in the morning once this place is open. Basically this place has like a complex of cave where you can explore everything. And each cave actually had a dedicated usage. Like there was one cave where it used to be a girls bedroom with a cool window. Definitely a must to go to, if you visit Cirebon. Price ticket is pretty cheap. All around a good experience.

I loved this place. The ambiance is very unique, if like in the other era. You can say Sunyaragi Cave is like a temple, because it was use for the Sultan (King) of Cirebon to take rest and meditate. This is the only temple that most of the cave was made with coral in Indonesia. I suggest you to use the guide service. If not, than you will not get the essence of this place. You need to pay Rp. 50.000, and for the entrance ticket is Rp. 10.000. The place it self is not that big, but the architecture is beautiful and very instagramable.

In 2018 December, parking fee for car Rp 3000, adult entrance Rp 10.000. Great historical site. very recomended if you want to do photography, meditation and peace place. no soap in public toilet. it's better to visit this site at evening because its outdoor and not too hot.

Place not so large, but it was more like corals, stones and caves. Caves are so small that only one or two person could fit. A bit hot around there. Entrance fee around 25000 Rupiah. Good for photos but don't stay too long here...

Sunyaragi Cave or Taman Sari Guwa Sunyaragi is a cave located in Sunyaragi village, Kesambi, Cirebon City where there is a temple-like building called Sunyaragi Cave. There are plenty of cave inside the candi however the entrance is too small and narrow, and the cave is very dark.

So this place is a tourism area..
Longtime a go use by the Hindus kingdom for doing isolate oneself. In here many cave ( goa) for those purpose.
I suggest to visiting on afternoon so not to hot.
The cave itself is spread and entering area is combine with up and down stairs.
Nice place to get picture or instagramable 😁
Closing time is 5pm. Toilet is available.
Not suitable to carrying baby stroller or wheelchair.
I recommend this place for having pictures
If you wanna have detail information there's a tour guide you can pay.
But would be better in every cave put some information the meaning and function not just a name.

The Cave is bigger than I have expected, the view when sunset will make your photos even magical and captivating. You can't climb like I did, or you will be shouted by the staff to get off of the Gua. There are also a hill and an amphitheatre and instagramable spot for photoshoot

This is one of the good historic places where you can visit and learn about the past. My children were very enthusiastic about the story behind this place. It's recommended to use the services of a tour guide on site.

Another place that you must visit, other than Keraton Kasepuhan. Super easy parking. It's a huge complex with so many places to take photos in. Some of the caves are pretty creepy and have passageway that lead nowhere. Best place to play hide-and-seek, just kidding. This is definitely a very historical location and definitely worth having a guide/friend to explain things to you. Pro-tip : Free iced tea, don't forget to collect it on your way out.

The Sunyaragi cave is a cultural site in Cirebon sprawling over fifteen hectares. The cave has statues of the Garuda, the Virgin Sunti, and majestic elephants. Taman Sari Gua Sunyaragi cave is a small part of the Pakungwati Palace (now Kasepuhan Palace).

ONE of the historical and tourist attractions in the city of Cirebon is Taman Sari Goa Sunyaragi. This cave complex is a legacy from kesultanan Cirebon and is one of the parts of the Keraton Pakungwati.
This beautiful place has several myths. Adapted from Sanskrit, Sunyaragi consists of the word "sunya" which means lonely and "yeast" which means body.
Sunyaragi Cave is believed to have been established by the great-grandson of Sunan Gunung Jati named Prince Kararangen in 1703. It is about 15 hectares wide and consists of two parts, namely the pesanggrahan and the cave. In the pesanggrahan section consists of bedrooms, porches, dressing rooms, and worship rooms. What is unique is that the pesanggrahan section is surrounded by parks and ponds, although now the pond has receded. While in the cave there are several rooms with different functions.
