Noghli Traditional Hotel

Noghli House is the pinnacle of traditional home experiences. It is centrally located within the historical quarter of Kashan, and walking through the winding mud-brick streets to leave and arrive is simply magical. The breakfast is healthy and fresh; tea from the boiling samovar is available at all times of day. The decor and dishes are all thematic and rustic and tastefully selected. The courtyard was gorgeous when we visited in the autumn, the grape arbor and fig trees golden yellow. Hotel staff lit a fire beside the courtyard pool (not for swimming! Traditionally used for washing clothes;-) on the cold night we were there and it was glorious to sit in the glow and admire the 200-year-old surroundings. I can imagine warm summer nights seated on the platforms draped in textiles talking to fellow travelers. I sincerely hope the Iranian economy recovers and tourists seeking authentic cultural experiences flock to Noghli House. Our room and bathroom were so clean, I cannot substantiate other visitors' complaints to the contrary below. The adjacent Agha Bozorg Mosque really is the pinnacle of Islamic architecture; bring your sketchpad or book to read and sit and admire any time of the day.

On the first night paid $30 for a very very small bedroom. The place was overran with local and international tourists. There was no a/c. Wife slept outside to stay cool, then the power went out for 20 minutes:(. But then the magic happened on the second night paid $40 for a good sized room with a/c with private shower room. Staffs care to make things work in the end. Beware to make sure you check Iran's holiday.

Great accomodation! Beautiful traditional house, with a nice courtyard, very clean. Facilities such as wifi in the rooms, toiletteries, towels and sheets, breakfast included. People in the reception are very nice, they help organising trips and they speak English. Reasonable price (30€ double room)

Must join the rooftop tour!! I would rate it 6 star if i can.They will guide you to walk on the rooftops in kashan. The environment is superb and staff are extremely nice and friendly. 40usd for a double room. Highly recommend. Best memory in Iran.

We had a relaxing stay in winter and it was not crowded neither the city nor this place. The staff are friendly, prices are reasonable as well. Overall experience was great.
