Icelandic Taxi Tours

My husband and I were visiting Reykjavik via cruise ship. We had great communication with this company while setting up the tour. This was a prepaid tour. Oli (the owner and lifelong resident of Reykjavik) met us at our cruise terminal as soon as we exited the ship. He was friendly and well dressed. The Sprinter Van was clean and in great condition. We started our tour very early in the morning (7 am) but it was worth it! There was zero traffic and very few other tourists. Oli gave us a great handout with all of the information about the sites we were about to see. He also has an audio recording to listen to, as we approach particular locations and was happy to answer all of our questions. Very professional! He would drop us at our attraction and let us explore on our own and tell us where to meet him when we were done. There was no pressure to rush through these locations. We ended the day at the coffee shop and bakery for a mid day kaffi, our treat. Oli was so very generous to help us run an errand in town on our way back to the ship! We could not have been more pleased with our tour!

Oli (Oleg) picked us up promptly at the cruise ship and then gave us a well informed and unique tour just for my husband and me of the Gold Circle. He was friendly and very well informed; he answered are many and varied questions. The van was comfortable and clean. He even offered to add a stop on the way to the airport because we asked so many things about Vikings. He took us to Viking World, just a few minutes from the airport. This was a great tour and we will always remember it.

It was worth the money for personalized, professional service! Definitely recommended for groups and families.

Our driver Óli was very safe (in the face of difficult winter and peak-hour driving conditions) & knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. He made sure we had a good time and were quite adaptable to our changing pace and limited mobility needs. Vehicle was clean inside and out. I requested an infant car seat (in advance) and it was both clean and properly installed. We also completed a Golden Circle Tour which had an audio guide, live driver commentary, complimentary WIFI, USB charging ports and a paper guide of the attractions.

Guy drives like a maniac. Horrible experience in the capital area. I should have asked him to show a valid driving licence.
