Well organized and clean facility. I did not interact with any staff so I cannot speak on the customer service (for not all for help and used self- check out). But the location seems to have quite the variety ranging from household items to craft supplies to food to clothes. Definitely would recommend! Also, all of the produce looked fresh!

One of the biggest hypermarket in Reykjavik which opens till night. You can find food and all other living stuff, homeware and cosmetic here.

For tourists, you can’t even sign a lot of things that is almost half price, compare with the downtown and or other tourist spots, including famous Icelandic salt, chocolate and even cosmetic products.

If the usual supermarkets aren't pricey enough, this place is basically the Booths of Iceland. They have a great range and huge pic n mix though (I hear it's half price on Saturday?)

Best grocery shopping in Iceland. Excellent product choices. Hefty prices however some stores are open 24/7 therefore it is a life saver supermarket.

Nice store! Some have compared it to Walmart but it's much classier than that lol. I'd say this is like if Macy's and Whole Foods had a baby this would be it. Good selection of foods and everything else. Oh and they accept all credit cards including Discover!

Of all the grocery stores in Iceland, this was the easiest to navigate as an American tourist- layout, packaging of things made most sense to us. Certainly, all other grocery stores were more than usable, but Hagkaup was most familiar
