Every 1 & 2 star review is because the ‘wrong location’ has been provided. Ignore those people. If you’re in Iceland, and you see a random place to explore, DO IT! This was an AWESOME place to stumble upon. This hole in the wall surprise was a great mini journey. Don’t let 1 star Andy’s who are looking for Narnia dissuade you! You can go back as far as you dare. Fun, quick stop that’s awesome for pictures. It’s not a magnificent, large waterfall - instead it’s a small, secluded place to explore!

Enjoyed the walk up to and into this ravine. Lots of water and loose pathways so not for everyone, but was fun.

Rauðfeldsgjá to jaskinia znajdująca się w okolicy Arnarstapi na zachodnim wybrzeżu Islandii. Jaskinia ta ma około 30 metrów wysokości i 10 metrów szerokości, a w jej głębi płynie strumień wody.

Według legendy, nazwa jaskini pochodzi od imienia Rauðfeldura, syna trolla, który zamieszkiwał w tych okolicach. Rauðfeldur miał być bardzo niegrzeczny i zadawać wiele kłopotów mieszkańcom okolicy, a jego imię przypisuje się również formacji skalnej znajdującej się w pobliżu.
