This beach is worth the stop especially if you want to climb some rocks for a few cool photos! Not a black sand beach, but it was incredibly beautiful! Highly recommend you adding this if you are driving by!

This beach is worth taking a stop at, especially if you have been to the black sand beach in Vik. The stark contrast of sand is beautiful, and is a great stop when making the trip around the Peninsula. You won't spend long here, a quick in and out will suffice.

Stunning beach with black volcanic rocks against light sand. Be aware there is very limited parking. Maybe space for around 6 or so cars.

Really nice beach, and while cold, great for taking photos. There was also a viking grave found here. If your in the area, it's worth stopping to take in the sights. Theres also a lighthouse further down the road past the beach.

Cute, secluded beach. The road can be a bit tough in winter, but a nice spot. The waves were pretty high when we stopped, but we didn't get in as it was winter.

Really beautiful place. As many have stated, the contrast with yellow sand and black cliffs is striking. Good for a nice walk. Also as expected, it was quite windy.

Beautiful and unlike other usual black sand beaches in Iceland. Very calm and secluded so you will not find too many people around. Approach road is narrow so be careful while driving.

Great sand, with some neat rocks along the beach. Kids had fun climbing around. We lucked out and had great weather with minimal wind.
