Traveling clockwise around snaefellsjokull, you see some great views and want to stop for a look. This vista point then appears and it's fantastic! Great views of the mountain, ocean, and fields. Be careful - it gets windy.

Kyngimagnað útsýni yfir vestasta hluta Snæfellsness og yfir Jökulinn í heiðskýru veðri. Sagan af Axlar-Birni verður svo lifandi þegar farið er um þessar slóðir. Merkilegt að koma ábyrgðinni á glæpum Axlar-Björns yfir á mömmu hans, þ.e. að hún hafi drukkið dýrablóð á meðgöngu. Mömmuskömm hefur greinilega verið til árið 1545 eða þar um bil.

Ótrúlega fallegt útsýni héðan yfir Snæfellsjökul og nágrenni. Reyndar var Axlar-Björn ógeðslegur karl en útsýnið hér er þess virði að stoppa.
