Hótel Blönduós

We stayed for only 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the old world feel and decor of the hotel. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and accommodated the 3 of us comfortably - we got a room with a double bed + sofa bed for our son. Service was impeccable - Natalia made us feel so welcome. Would love to come back and stay again if we are in the area.

Beautiful spot and interesting hotel and interior.. loved all the maps. Comfortable and clean rooms. Loved the rain shower. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Hope one day to come back there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean and offered a stunning view. The service provided by the team was exceptional, as they demonstrated flexibility and went above and beyond to make our experience truly pleasant.

Big recommend for couples with kids as it is a perfect getaway from a busy city life. I love the “old made new” style of the hotel. Our room was like we time traveled. Also the art work and the old maps on the walls of the hotel are unique, they really work well on dialling down the stress of every day life.
& food is good.

Swimming pool in Blönduós is phenomenal! Especially with kids.

Super happy to have found this gem of a hotel. The beds, pillows and blanket were so comfortable that we all slept in late after 7 days on the road. We also had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent! A highly recommended place for any travellers who need a good rest while doing the ring road.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Blonduos back in June! The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy stay along the ring road.

The hotel is lovely and cosy. The food from the restaurant - mind blowingly delicious. Never quite understood that scene in the film Once Upon a Time in Mexico where Johnny Depp's characters goes to shoot the chef because the food is toooo good. It's upsetting - not being able to eat that food all the time!

Recently renovated, charming hotel on the water. The rooms are pristine. Einar was a great host and provided a lot of direction. Couldn’t be more thankful 👍

Very nice hotel in a small community.

Pięknie położony nad samym morzem, nowo odnowiony hotel. Ceny są nieco wyższe, ale płaci się za jakość i za piękne widoki. Obsługa przemiła i bardzo pomocna. Warto też skorzystać z restauracji. Smaczne potrawy w menu. Polecam łososia z pęczakiem i batatami. Fantastyczny. Obsługa komunikuje się w języku islandzkim, angielskim, hiszpańskim i polskim. Polecam to miejsce.

Un hôtel vraiment très agréable, le personnel est absolument charmant et arrangeant. Ce fut un plaisir de passer du temps ici et de dîner au sein de leur restaurant ! Je recommande !
