Good place to get a last minute purchase from Iceland’s premier clothing brand. Prices are the same as they are outside of the airport.

Preise sind deutlich günstiger als im Zentrum, da hier nur internationale Flüge abgehen wird keine Steuer auf die Einkäufe berechnet. Das ist aber auch der Grund weshalb nur abfliegende Reisende hier einkaufen dürfen. Ankommende Reisende können in den Laden rein, aber kaufen geht erst mit Rückflugticket.

Souvenire sind nicht billiger, einige sogar teurer, als auf der Insel selber, wo lokal auch bei Händlern gekauft werden kann.
Tax Free ist hier, zumindest bei den Souveniren meiner Meinung nichts.

Quite a pity really. Wife had wanted to make an expensive purchase and I would have bought a goretex parka too but the 3 white staff wouldn’t even look my way nor my wife’s way. When ever we were close to them they would walk to further away and chatted with each other . The only people they asked if help was required was when a non Asian person walked into the shop area. Pity isn’t it to be so ignorant at this day and age of easy information and knowledge. Maybe it’s the strong American influence here. I ain’t even from China but then again that’s not the point . Like in the US it’s all about the skin colour . Silly

A store in Keflavik airport had issues with its payment system in early September, I was double charged for my purchase. I haven’t been refunded and have no updates from them. It’s nearly been two months
