Oregano Restaurant

The gnocchi was excellent and the pizza on the first visit tasted a bit meh but on the second was phenomenal and well worth the visit!

Javonie was my server, and he was super efficient and polite. The caprese salad was fresh and delicious. The pizza very tasty, I got the countryside. The atmosphere is so laid back and comfortable.

Probably the worst restaurant in this resort.

The chef probably had a bad day, but the experience of our evening meal was poor.

The lasagne photograph may look amazing, but it really lacked everything a lasagne should have. Which means, no onion, no garlic, no carrot to make a mix, no San Marino tomatoes for base and no bechamel.

This was pure tomatoe puree and mince and cheese, it was awful.

The pizza "white pizza" with caramelised onions and balsamic. There was no white sauce, the onions where not caramelised (how hard is it?!!) And it was dire.

I was polite to the hostess but I would certainly avoid this one. No wonder it's empty a lot as the chef doesn't know the basics. Send him to Italy or even my house where we'll show how to make something so simple to make delicious rather than this very poor meal.

The one positive... The pasta was al dente.

The service was ok, not their fault that the food took 80 minutes to arrive.

Oregano at the resort presented an attempt at Italian cuisine, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The ambiance aimed for a traditional Italian trattoria feel, which was inviting, but the food did not live up to the same standard. The pizza, in particular, was a letdown with its chewy dough, and the dishes lacked the authentic flavors one would hope for in Italian fare. While the staff were welcoming and did their best to provide a pleasant dining experience, the quality and authenticity of the food were areas that could greatly benefit from improvement. For those with a penchant for genuine Italian cuisine, Oregano might not hit the mark.
