Breathtaking View. Easy access to location by 4WD or by Motorbike. Try to visit by avoiding monsoon season as you may experience heavy fog during the rainy season. The cliff has safety barrier. You can take the road via Lunugala or via Passara and Madusima. Tarmac road is quite ok and from Amabalama Junction it is asphalt road. But the road is on rock near to the entry point (will be an issue for a car). You may need to buy entry tickets

Madulsima Mini World's End is a breathtaking clifftop viewpoint in the village of Pitamaruwa, Sri Lanka. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and plains, stretching all the way to the east coast. The site is named after the famous World's End in Horton Plains National Park, but it is much less crowded and offers a more intimate and serene experience.
To reach Madulsima Mini World's End, you'll need to take a short hike through a lush tea plantation. The trail is well-maintained and relatively easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with stunning views that will take your breath away.

Here are some of the reasons why you should visit Madulsima Mini World's End:

*.Spectacular views: The panoramic vistas from the clifftop are truly breathtaking, offering a glimpse of Sri Lanka's diverse landscapes.
*.Serene atmosphere: Unlike the more popular World's End, Madulsima Mini World's End is less crowded and offers a peaceful ambiance.
*.Easy accessibility: The hike to the viewpoint is relatively easy and suitable for most visitors.
*.Surrounding attractions: Madulsima Mini World's End is close to other attractions like Bambarabotuwa Falls and Dorapoda Falls, making it a great base for exploring the area.

We can go to top by bike roads is not that much good but bikes can go. if the cars ground level is higher then cars also can go to the top. There is parking area. We needs to get the tickets from the small cottage. It's around 100RS per person for locals. It's a beautiful place. The views of the mountain 🏔 is much beautiful. Looks from the top view is amazing. There is small Fountain in the top of the mountain so when we pass the mountain water spray from the mountain 🏔. The water doesn't go down because of the power of wind. Very careful about children. Some places does not have the barrier at the end of the mountain 🗻. We can put camping 🏕 there. Toilet facilities are there. Keeps our environment clean. Do not throw any plastic or bags.there is trash 🗑 bin so please use it. It's not only our environment but also other species not get affect.

Madulsima is a scenic camping spot located in Uva province towards the south eastern part of the Island. The distance from Kandy is approximately 136KM and the journey will take about 2.5 hours. The closest route is travel to Badulla via Randenigala road and go towards Badulla Passara road. Once you pass Passara main town, travel for about 200m and turn towards the left. The road conditions are absolutely great but from Passara to Madulsima, there are few spots where the road is not so smooth. Can travel up to a distance about 2KM away from the camping spot in a car passing the Cocogalla tea factory. But if you are traveling by bike, you can reach up to the camping location. There is a water tap so no need to carry large water cans. Be aware of leaches if it is a rainy season be prepared with necessary chemical substances like dettol or salt. Try to avoid the rainy season (Nov-Jan) since the wind is so strong even our tent was brought down in the middle of the night breaking the metal rod. As per a tea estate worker, best period to camp is February to April.

This is not as famous as the World's End at Horton Planes. But just as mesmerizing as any viewpoint. You can see the East planes of the country from up here. The view will calm your mind in seconds. And this is also an amazing place to go camping. We spent the night before at a nearby place. Then departed to reach here at 4.30 am. and arrived at 6.30 am. We just missed the sunrise. If you plan on going here, make sure to watch the beautiful sunrise. We managed to get some awesome photos here with the sun.
This place is not governed by any authority. So there's no need to get tickets or no one will disturb your time up here. But please be careful not to pollute the area.
The road is kinda narrow with steep slope on one side. And there is one place where its kinda like off-road driving experience. Other than that there's no problem.

The Madulsima worlds end is located at the end of the lush tea Plantation Roeberry Estate at Madulsima, Passara. The next time you are taking a trip to Badulla to see the early settlers don’t forget to break journey to visit Madulsima Worlds end.

The salient feature of Madulsima Worlds end is, that the visitor can view a vast plain starting at the bottom of the mountain and ending towards the East coast. The highest part of the rock belongs to Roeberry estate and the lower part to the Dorapoda in Bibile district. The range of mountains are always covered in mist and has salubrious climate at all times.

One of the SUPERB landscapes ever witnessed <3 The route is hard but the experience is awesome. Best spot for camping. I never thought such a place would exist in sri lanka cuz its more than awesome. But please dont pollute. It still remains clean, fresh and less crowded. If u go by public bus from badulla, get in a bus going to passara and then from passara town find the pitamaruwa bus. As we were told there's only two buses for whole day from passara to pitamaruwa. Before leaving, confirm bus times and get the contacts of buses. Any way no permission required to visit or camp.
