Fat Burner Live Kitchen

Simply the most wonderful restaurant experience from all of Sri Lanka. I simply cannot recommend anything more than Fat Burner. The best food (which you see being made as the name suggests), lovely service and a beautiful place. We had ceviche, tartar and tuna burger (with the absolutely best french fries I have ever had) and we loved every bite + their drinks are delicious. If I ever come to Sri Lanka, I am definitely coming back!

We came here for dinner and absolutely loved everything we ordered. We had the tuna tartare appetizer - the knife skills on all the components of the dish was seriously impressive and the dish was divine and fresh. We had the tandoori pizza and calamari as our mains - pizza had a great flavour, calamari was the star of the show! It was cooked to absolute perfection - melt in your mouth good. The sauce was so flavourful and complemented the calamari amazingly. Service was great also! Highly recommend.

The reviews were right! Delicious food with good atmosphere. Very fresh - enjoyed watching the chef cook in front of us. We had the falafel, chicken burger & ceviche. Highly recommend the passion fruit lemonade & ginger lemonade!
Very easy to reserve via WhatsApp if you want to be sure but it wasn’t busy when we were there.

Got the chicken burger and tuna ceviche. Tuna ceviche particularly was unreal, nice light, fresh flavours - highly recommend. And the burger does the job if you’re craving something other than curry. Really lovely guys there too. Go check it out 👍🏼

I would recommend this to everyone who comes to Sri Lanka and passes by Weligama! The food was so good and like easily one of the best things I ate during my whole month in Sri Lanka. We took the gazpacho as a starter and after tasting that we already knew that everything was going to be so good. After that we also took the buffalo wings and the prawn burger and both were so delicious 🤤 Also supporting someone who has made from his passion and talent his job just feels good. Thank you for the delicious food and you’ll see us tomorrow again 🙌🏻

If you want a beef burger, you are in the right direction. It's better than in many places in Sri Lanka, of course it's not a common EU/US burger. But it's nice to try one.

This place is amazing . If you love seafood this place is a must to go. A lot of varieties available. And the food is so fresh and tastes amazing. I highly recommend the place. If you have a burger from this place you will definitely come back again' it is that good trust me ! Juicy n tasty 😋

This place was great. We WhatsApp’d the owner and he sent over menu pics and just told us to give a date and time with what we wanted. (This was during lockdown times)
We were a group of four and everything was delicious. I got whatever fish he recommended that wasn’t tuna and the dish was soooo goood. The purée and veg was magnificent. My partner got the shrimp and avocado salad which was huge! And my friends ordered the chicken burger and pasta. All were great. The pasta with creamy sauce was especially amazing. Sweet little joint with two tables for more higher end food for a good price.

Definitely a must try restaurant! The chef is excellent, the dishes are tasteful, the presentation colorful. The chef is extremely talented.. excellent value for the price! I love the genuineness of the chef, his talent and attention to details in each dish he gave. It’s like having a 5-star dinner at a hidden cozy place. Seeing how my food was cooked was definitely enjoyable! Everything is delicious! Highly recommend!!

We had a great meal at this place! We went for the gazpacho and the falafel burger. Super tasty! The iced coffee is the best one I had in Sri Lanka. They add extra spices what makes the iced coffee very unique. Highly recommend :)

I traveled from Colombo specifically to taste the famous burger. Without a doubt, it stands out as one of the best burgers I've ever had. The ambiance further enhances the dining experience, making it a place I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

The food is soooo delicious!!! It is the man's own small restaurant and cooks himself. You can also see him cooking which is very nice! I strongly recommend this place if you are in Weligama.

I had chicken burger which came with sweet potato fries, it was unreal! Everything was freshly made and honestly if I stayed in Weligama I would’ve gone back.

It was up a backstreet and we were the only customers but within 20 minutes every table was full. Don’t let an empty restaurant put you off, people bring in people, so be the first and everyone will follow!
