Delicious, super fresh food! Probably the best fish I have ever had. Very good seasoning. Everything homemade even the chips! I highly recommend this place. Also the restaurant is located on a very beautiful beach :)

Soooo delicious. The owner asks you to order your food an hour before and then come back to enjoy (rather than wait impatiently!) - it was DELICIOUS!!

The children loved the fried rice while we enjoyed sitting on the beach by candle light with wonderful seafood.

These ladies know how to cook authentic Sri Lankan food. We bought fresh fish and veggies from the local market and got them to cook a meal for us. They were very friendly and cooked the food exactly the way we wanted.
It’s a definite place to come visit again if we happen to be in the area.

Really lovely spot for beautiful evenings and delicious meals. The family is so awesome and are happy to accommodate the little kids needs too. Everything is cooked fresh to order and we often “booked” a meal ahead of time and went for a walk on the beach and timed the return with a delicious meal.

Outstanding grilled calamari. I ordered mix with prawns but they were so good I had to eat a second plate 😀 Lovely restaurant on the beach run by a wife of a local fisherman. Fresh seafood guaranteed 🍤

Absolutely delicious authentic Srilankan food served on the beach. Fresh fish, delicious crab, prawns and lobsters, fluffy red rice and an array of traditional vegetable dishes... dhal, okra, squash, beans, aubergines. All served with a gentle smile.
My favorite...the crab curry!

Small family restaurant on the beach. We had dinner there twice and the food was perfect, with fresh and delicious fish.
The family that runs it is lovely, so that is obviously a plus. It was a pleasure to meet them!

We just had lunch at this family run restaurant right one of the most stunningly beautiful beach around Tangalle.
We were both deliciously happy with the food and the warm welcome.

The view on the ocean is beautiful and the tranquility makes the experience even more delicious.

Amazing, friendly people. They cooked a fantastic meal and the whole family joined together to sing happy birthday for my mother in law. Very nice children as well. Definitely some of the best food you can get on Sri Lanka!

Been in Sri Lanka 10 days now and been to many many restaurants and this is honestly THE BEST FOOD we have eaten here so far!!!! Honestly just amazing! We ate fresh prawns that were caught the same day in the most amazing sauce! Chips that were hand cut and out of this world. The veggie fried rice was Michelin quality. The bananas and coconuts were fresh from their garden! I will be remembering this restaurant for the rest of my life. We ordered crabs and calamari for the next day, they caught it fresh and I tell you there isn’t a restaurant in Europe that is so fresh and delicious. Family owned, and managed by the grandmother, her daughter, and her grand daughter! Was amazing to support these kind hearted, generous, positive and sweet ladies. The men in the family catch the fish and they cook it and sell it here. This restaurant is BEYOND amazing! Will be eating all my meals here till I leave!

We ate here everyday during our 6 day staying nearby. Delicious fresh seefood, nice service and beautiful wild and empty beach. Can honestly recommend!

Without a question the best place on the beach. This is a great example that you don’t need much to have an unique and excellent food experience. This place is an opened bungalow: palm leaf roof on top of 10 bamboo sticks, standing right on the beach. A family of three generations with amazing cooking skills will offer you the best seafood experience. We ordered prawn curry and got the biggest prawns I’be ever seen, swimming in a perfect yellow curry sauce. If you’re into seafood I highly recommend you to find this nice small bungalow and enjoy this.
