An iconic symbol of the resort. If you are in Jurmala, don’t miss it. You will find the sculpture easily. A bronze turtle stands in front of the beach with white Jurmala letters inscription in the middle of it. The resort is rich of interesting architecture and there are many vacationers everywhere. Worth visiting to feel the vibe.

This is a very cute turtle looking over the sea :) would be fun for kids to climb on top of it. The view of the beach is amazing and the water is clean. It was pretty cold and windy but i saw some people jump in the water anyways. This turtle is a beautiful landmark of the sea.

It was big and beautiful. There were kids on top of it getting their photos taken. I won't come back just for the turtle but it was OK.

We went here on the beach. The weather was windy, so we soon left. You could take some good pictures at the turtle's place and there was also a geocache next to it!

If you're driving to see this turtle, DON'T trust the google navigation. The street (Tirgonu str.) ISN'T suitable for cars. The road ends abruptly into pedestrian steps on which lost cars frequently get stuck and have to be towed free.

when i was little, i always wanted to see this turtle, and still, after decade of going to visit The turtle, it's still in a wonderful shape, it's super easy to get to it. wonderful place to take photos. a great stop if you visit JURMALA for the first time
