Great restaurant. Since the town is touristic I didn’t have a lot of expectations about restaurants , but this place was a really great surprise. Price are reasonable. Count 13euros for pork shaslyk. Big portion with 2 skewers of meat. Pork was tasty and really nicely cooked. It comes with salad, sauce and rice or you could choose potatoes instead. The service was pretty quick. There is a nice terrace and an inside seating. Totally worth it.

very interesting and beautiful restaurant...has two environments, internal and external. inside, it looks like a cave, with separate tables in rooms. The bar has a good variety of drinks. The food is very tasty, a variety of dishes, chicken, pork, fish...the service is good, they are attentive and kind. the environment is clean, a little dark inside. in the extra part it is very pleasant, with a place on a deck over a river. the value is compatible with the level of the set...dinner for two, without exaggeration, average 30€. I recommend it, and it's worth the visit!

Great place! There is an option to order “whatever” for 15€ and they bring you chef’s special. It was a pretty cool concept if you want something unexpected :)

A place where you can enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price with friendly service. In particular, it will make people very happy if they are very hungry (American size service portion)

I liked the place. Paid 3eur for a good 0.5L of beer, 7.80eur for a vegetarian burger. Burger was also good! I put 5 stars because of that - they had some vegetarian options which were decent. The spot is also pretty good - it's located over the small "Aleksupite" because of which Kuldiga is called the Little Venice. I suggest to sit outside, the inside of the place is dark (that's why its called "the basement")

Very nice place. We sat outside. The river runs underneath the terrave, which is very beautiful. Unfortunately not too many vegetarian options, but if you do fish, this restaurant is highly recommended. We went for troud and salmon. Both very tasty.

Nice outside terrace, staff fluently speaks English. Low waiting time for the food which was super delicious, especially creamy shrimp and salmon soup. Highly recommended.

Great place, good food, staff working properly, active without unnecessary questions. Ordered Latvian national food, and it was tasty and portions was very big. Wife was eating julienne it was as well good.

Amazing spot. Restaurant is in the basement. You have privacy. Food is delicious. Huge portions.

Soup of the day - tomato soup is terrible. It is made from tomatoes with paprika. Burning and acidity are felt. We ate this soup of the day and garlic toast. My wife and I both got sick to our stomachs after this meal. I definitely do not recommend taking a risk and eating at this restaurant.

Delicious Sweets and great meals. I liked the atmosphere downstairs when we visited on a rainy evening.
