Venta waterfall

Venta is almost frozen in winter and the water level is high, so you can't really see the fall! But the place is a must see even in winter!

Beautiful place to see in Kuldiga - we loved walking next to the waterfall - however the water is quite high so one small portion (around 1 m) of the wooden path is now cover rim water so need to walk around it this time of the year.

Cool waterfall. Visible from the bridge and cute scenery in pretty weather. If you visit here, visit the town as well. Very much recommend. Widest waterfall I have ever seen. Just not the highest. It is Unesco world heritage.

You can reach from parking in 400 meters. The waterfall is beautiful,you can walk across but slippery. Not much busy , heard that there would be flying fish during some time but we didn't see any. No tickets needed ( approx 150 km ) from Riga

The place is more beautiful than I saw on pictures. Definitely worth the visit. Also the city as a whole is charming.

Summer, sun and Ventas Rumba is a recipe for a great day with full of fun and relaxation. I was excited to see the widest waterfall of Europe but did not expect to have this much fun. Water temperature was perfect, you can jump to water, challenge yourself or friends to cross one side to another. Located small and one of the cutest town in Latvia. Just go for it, you wont be regret!

Very nice and refreshing place. You can swim there or walk across the river on top of the waterfall.

Very beautiful area with multiple waterfalls. In summer people go through it and cross the river. Nice to see from different angles.

A stunning river ledge overflow more than a waterfall. It’s very wide and beautiful. Great to watch the kids play on it and to see local artists drawing it. Beautiful!

Niagra falls from Aliexpress, but don't be scared. Beautiful and very calm place. You can walk around it because water is not deep there.

Jumping vimba is a cool show! This show is available in the sunny time in the end of April/beginning of May.

Dry season so the water levels are low but it still is a very wide waterfall has swiming spots and depending on the weather is a very nice spot!

Great place to swim either under the waterfall or on top of it, or walk over the whole thing to the other side! There are toilets, changing rooms and volleyball court available.

Went there in winter time during snow. It looks great when waterfalls makes its way forward despite frost and snow. Impressive.

Nice experience. We have been swimming down stream, jumped and played. Take care, you need to be able to swim well.
