Very calm and quiet. Clean water and beach. There's a nudist beach nearby. Variety of restaurant and bars make sure visitors are not hungry. Coffee machines are pretty common. Sand is very small, almost like a flour. Perfect for a lazy, afternoon stroll during the winter.

Beautiful sandy beach, clean, football goals, changing boxes, chair rental, bins, even when busy it's spacious

Sea goes for a mile without getting too deep

Easy to paddle splash and swim

99.9% Latvian/russian speaking so make sure you have what you need when you arrive

Family friendly

Cafes bars shops ice-cream all within 5 minutes

This beach was really nice and ful of people these days.The way to beach was calm and full with fancy restaurants.Beach water is not pure and full of algae but really good place to visit in Latvia.I think this is one of nearest beach to Riga city.

Amazing beach with bathroom and changing room. Has direct railway route - the drive takes only 20 minutes.

Great seaside for a walk, sunbathing or just for a chill in bar! Few bars opened here all year through. Extra cafés come alive in spring and stay until late autumn!

Beatiful beach with sand dunes and surrounded by pine forests. Popular place all year around for sport and leisure. The beach is clean and well maintained.

Absolutely lovely beach just a train ride away from Rīga! For a few € you can have a wonderful day that's filled with sun and rest!

Soft sand, good for recreation. I wish there were more facilities for kids and parking lots nearby.
