This was the first place we went to eat when we arrived in Latvia and we were not disappointed!! Food was absolutely amazing!! The place is small but their menu has variety and the service was great! The breakfast and the onion soup were really delicious and we would definitely come back!!

A great little place for breakfast (as there aren't that many tables, it's recommended to book one). The menu is not very extensive, they specialise in their sourdough slices with different toppings (the one in the photo is of pork belly) and caramelised butter. You can get different add-ons and cocktails, as well as, of course, coffee.

Google send us here as one of the best places for good breakfast in Riga ! And it is as spot on ! First we drove past , thinking where the hell it has sent us 😅I took chance to drive around one more time , and we find it ⭐super nice cosy ,very welcoming and very tasty place to have a breakfast !😍highly recommended !

There is a potential for this place. I totally love the style of the interior, it's very well done. Be aware that the place is tiny and now they can fit may be only 15-20 people inside, so better make a reservation before coming on a weekend.

The bread is awesome, You can get it for a takeaway, but can also enjoy it at the place when ordering some sandwiches (there are fully vegetarian options, one with smoked fish, one with smoked meat).
The place serves mostly breakfast food items, they have some cakes and desserts (the bread pudding was really good), also raw and vegan options available, as well as some local ice cream which sounded great (at least 6-7 different flavors).
Two salads in the menu, some snack plates, wine, a little bit of local craft beer.
Great coffee, which is a huge success and will be a reason for me to come there again.
The personnel could get more experience, but the overall service was okay, and hopefully will be faster soon!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with brunch here and it was the best choice! I had the goat cheese & charred tomato toast with a mimosa, while he had the breakfast plate and a flat white. You can tell they only use the freshest, highest quality ingredients, because everything was exceptional. Our server was also attentive and kind, helping us select some bread and caramelized butter from their market section before we departed.

Side note: we hadn't planned to buy the butter, but he and another worker both raved that it was worth it, and we couldn't have been luckier to have their recommendation. I never knew that I could fall in love with butter, but thanks to Katkevich, it is a reality. Thank you for a wonderful brunch, team!

Very friendly staff and fantastic breakfast food, all fresh. Make sure to get a reservation. Many people walked in wanting a table but they were fully booked.

Excellent sourdough bread, sandwiches and locally inspired dishes to eat or takeaway. Great Kalve coffee and self-made snacks like caramelized onions and pesto. Highly recommended for breakfast, brunch or takeaway!

As long as there is Katkevich I will never buy bread anywhere else again!! Words can not express how happy I am to have this place so close to home. The concept, the people, the atmosphere, the interior, the butter, THE BREAD!!!!

Delicious big but light toasts with a variety of toppings as well as coffee and cakes perfect for breakfast in the sunny, calm atmosphere of the cafe, but slightly overpriced. Exceptionaly careful service. Cafe is pets friendly. It was nice to see my native flag of Ukraine inside 💛💙
