Essaouira Mogador Airport

Small but nice airport. Airport staff are very friendly. Good facilities with some shops outside in the terminal. You can buy your local SIM card

Whilst not much in the way of facilities, this airport is elegant in its simplicity and design. Toilets are fine, and you can grab a coffee or a snack or four or after your flight, no problem. Multiple taxis outside (and don't be bad for about sharing one of those with other tourists / travellers!).

I love how quickly you go through the small airports.

And check out Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, the little prince, awesome wells and other friends on the murals above the arrivals lounge door....

Nice little airport, which should afford swift passage! A few basic facilities, including cafe, cash machine ATM and "Aéro Shop".

Check out the murals on the wall behind you at arrivals lounge, if you want to see Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Orson Wells, "The Little Prince", etc (all of whom famously stayed in Essaouira, amongst many musicians and other artists).

1 hour wait to collect hire car.Airport was nice bought a SIM card in the shop.

Superb little Airport. Super chilled, clean toilets and extremely friendly customs officials.

The airport is conveniently small and it makes you feel more relaxed than in the most of pther airports. Although there are more than usual checks and controls, we felt at ease with the friendly staff and security. We were surprised by the service provided by Mrs Hajar who was working hard near check-in queue. She has thoroughly examined our documents and found out that we were missing printed boarding passes (its compulsory there). She did us a great favour by filling out the forms (for other passengers, too), so we could avoid a penalty. We were were pleased by this unexpected help. Thanks a lot!

Delightfully small, very clean and efficient staff.

It's a very small airport, as well as very clean. It's far from the city center, 20-25 min away from the Medina by car.

This is a very small airport often with just a single flight each day.
But because of that, things are run smoothly and efficiently and the facilities that are there (2 duty free shops, a cafe, a local produce shop and some toilets) are well maintained .
Sometimes smaller clearly is better

Very clean, smart, small airport. No tension airport staff or getting on to the plane. Easy access to Essaouira city by taxi or bus.

Cute airport. Arrival/ departures could be better staggered as it becomes too overcrowded when 2 departures clash even when they are an hour apart.

We stayed a bit in the airport, waiting to sort out a rental car, we got to meet nearly all the staff including the manager. they are all really friendly, airport is very clean and new. prayer room upstairs is convenient.

I prefer this airport to Marrakech. Its more layback. Being small it allows one to relax

Cool little airport location and staff very friendly and supportive. This is in comparison to menra and casablancas airport.

Just remember when coming here there are no ATMs at the airport on an money exchange place and in order to get into essaouira you need to get a taxi which has a fixed fee of 150 dirhams or 15 euros. The driver will always try to sneak a tip so have exact change.

There are also car rental stalls there. Not much for food though.
