Bek knows what he’s doing and he hires guides that speak perfect English. My experience was better than expected. Of course this is a rugged trip with both high and basic accommodations, but if you’re looking to go to Mongolia you must already have traveled quite a bit and know the ropes. Bek and his team truly do their best to say “yes” to what you want to do. They know the history and culture. Everything is very organized and done in a way that flows in timing, meaning the cultural moments are when you want to see them. I attended the Eagle Festival and I couldn’t have been more pleased and I can’t wait to go back and try another one of his tours.

The trip to Mongolia with Bek Travel was a fascinating experience all round. It's such a huge and vast land with lots to see and do. My best friend and I went west. We stayed in gers, met some nomad families, ate some great food made by our brilliant cook and did activities such as horse riding, hiking and we even had the chance to hold an eagle and learn about the traditions of eagle hunting. We especially enjoyed the hiking to the lake. The scenery is breathtaking. And the incredible Mongolian throat singer. Just out of this world! Important to note that Bek made sure we were sorted for everything we needed. It can be nerve wracking to go to remote places such as Mongolia, but we were well taken care of. Even though we confirmed everything last minute, Bek organised a tour for us. And any question we had, he answered with reassurance. We're both so grateful Thanks so much Bek and to our team🙏🏻❤

My friend and I did a long tour with Bek Travel in Aug/Sept 2023, arranging a 9 day trek through Altai Tavan Bogd National Park and an 8 day road trip from Olgii to UB.

We decided to go with Bek Travel because Bek was the most helpful in helping us figure out an itinerary that would fit our schedule and tick our experiences list. We communicated through a mix of emails and WhatsApp calls.

Bek was accommodating and responsive. He booked our internal flights from UB to Olgii, picked us up from Olgii airport and helped us get sim cards.

The trek was with Shokhan (guide), Zoya (cook) and wrangler. We did our trek in reverse to give us time to acclimatise to the altitude but also means climbing Malchin Peak around day 7 of the trek. I wont describe too much about the trek itself as the photos speak for themselves, highly recommend trail for anyone that loves remoteness in the wild with varying scenery. The hike itself is doable with average fitness, just take your time.

Would recommend our guide and cook without hesitation. They have both worked with Bek for a long time and are friendly, accommodating and excellent at what they do. The food was delicious especially the Sirne (lamb and vegetable stew with pastry). Shokhan spoke several languages and his English was very good, along with his knowledge of the area and the people.

We stayed in a mixture of tent and gers. The families we stayed at were always welcoming. Typically there was always a nearby river to clean yourself, but the water does get a lot colder towards base camp.

We opted for the horse ride from base camp back to ranger station after climbing Malchin Peak. Would recommend this option as it was a fun experience if you enjoy or have not tried horse riding.

The eagle family visit was ok, we dressed up and took photos with eagles. Did not get to watch any throat singing so cannot comment but from videos on other Bek tours, it looks like something worth doing.

Our driving tour was with Asyel (guide) and Khaji (driver). We chose not to have a cook so the drive would be more comfortable. Again, the people provided through Bek Travel are reliable, experienced and we got a long well with both, which is important considering the amount of time you spend together in the car. The car we travelled in was a little older but reliable, never broke down once.

The road trip from Olgii to UB is a long drive and may not be for everyone. We had a great time and would recommend for people who are not short on time and want to experience more of Mongolia (it is a vast country with different cultures).

Some days are very long drives, which was on us trying to squeeze a lot of stuff on our itinerary. But if I was doing this a second time round, would cut a few things out to reduce the driving. My only advice for people doing anything similar is to keep an open mind and be flexible, just experience and enjoy.

Things I really enjoyed was trying different food and drinks like fermented horse milk and yak milk vodka. Everyone again were welcoming and friendly, we were extremely fortunate at some ger families who sang for us. We also spent several days in the Gobi Desert, with the sand dunes being a highlight.

If we return to Mongolia I would not hesitate to use Bek Travel again, highly recommend to anyone looking for a stress-free experience.

Bek is really transparent, fast response and he personalized the tour according to our schedule. We did so much during our 7 days in Mongolia!

All staffs and skillful and friendly. We had Shokhan as our guide, Gula and our cook and Aitu as our driver. We really enjoyed their company, they are willing to help us out with anything beyond our tour-customer relationship. They made an exploration of this country really meaningful.

I've traveled globally for over 50 years. This was easily in the top 3, if not #1. I went there not knowing much about the culture and loved all I discovered. Bek was super easy to work with. His staff was also awesome. We went to the Eagle Games Festival where villages compete in different competitions. It was like nothing I had ever seen. I felt sooooo lucky to be witness to this culture that will become a tourist draw versus all the villagers attending. We had a mix. I'd say maybe 100 foreigners and 200+ regional people there to watch their village compete. We also stayed a few nights with a hunters family located....where, I dont know how our driver found it. Dirt roads and off roading to get there. Awesome ride out. The views in the countryside were stunning. The people super nice. We got to hunt with our hunters eagle. Such a different world than anywhere else. This was a trip of a lifetime. This untouched beauty and nomadic culture won't last many more decades (my concern). Do go..... and please dont fly drones all over the festival games. We are all there for the magic of the moment being guests at a 1000's year old tradition. Its like being transported back in time. Embrace it.

Bek Travel is the company to use if you are traveling to Mongolia, especially western Mongolia. He arranged a 14-day tour of the Gobi Desert and western Mongolia for me that was an unforgettable trip. Having the opportunity to live with a nomadic family, ride horses in the mountains and attend an Eagle Hunter festival was the highlight of my trip. Bek was professional, organized and responsive to all my requests. I highly recommend his company and would use them again in a heartbeat.

We went to Western Mongolia for 7 days tour. Overall this was a very good experience. We had a cook, guide and driver. We felt safe and the cooking was great. Bek spent plenty of time to answer our questions and when we landed in Olgii everything was ready for us to start. We also had plenty of activities and the scenery was amazing. Horse riding is also definitely worth it. The sleeping comfort is basic (no bed) as you would expect in the middle of nowhere so be prepared. On the minus side, the driver was older and a bit too loud for our taste and not always polite. Few things also didn't go according to the programme: We didn't see the petroglyph. When visiting the eagle hunter family the eagle hunter was not around We could still take photos with the eagle in traditional clothes. At the end of the tour Bek orgnized a nice surprise with throat singing which was really great. This is one of the best value for money and we would recommend Bek travel to visit Western Mongolia.

Great and fast communication before the trip, they managed to arrange a super good trip even though I contacted on short notice and they adapted the program to fit my needs. I really had a wonderful trip and a lot of fun with the staff. A very knowledgeable guide that spoke good English, great chef and skilled driver. The staff created a very kind atmosphere and their happy attitude made the trip even better. All in all a super professional agency that takes good care of the clients and makes good tours. I am very satisfied with the experience, both the organization and the lovely places and people that we visited.

I have just come back from a week in Western Mongolia! None of it would have been possible if I hadn't found Bek Travel. The boss, Aynabek, was so prompt and detailed in his replies that I felt that even though I was travelling alone, off-season, I would be fine. He always replied within hours, sometimes within a few minutes, so even though everyone around me said 'What? Western Mongolia? ALONE?' I never felt apprehensive from the very start- I sent him over 30 emails in the three months I was planning my trip.
I know there are a lot of travel agents out there, but if you are going to the west, I strongly recommend you use Bek- the advantage of having a team who are Kazakh Mongolian and know the language, and the customs, and the people is SO important. aThere was nothing I would change- through Haika, Lazzat, and Khimbat, I was able to catch a glimpse of life in Western Mongolia. They were with me all the way, as we travelled both by car and on horse back, visited a local eagle Festival, watched the magnificent Nauryz Festival, stayed with a local family, and made visits to 15! local houses for Nauryz soup and tea. We were always laughing and joking. It sounds corny, but when we left I felt like I had a family in Mongolia- and I already am making plans to go back. I would like to tell everyone- send Bek an email, and any worries you have will be over!

The way they arranged everything for my golden eagle tour 2 months back is quite satisfying and appreciable. I had a lovely time in Mongolia because of their great services.
