Museum of Bayan-Ulgii Province

Nice small museum. It took us less than an hour to walk through all exhibitions. Worth a visit if you want to kill time in Ulgii, but you can definitely skip it if you have been to the museum in UlaanBaatar. They don’t accept credit cards, only cash, at least when we visited.
The exhibitions included animals, stones, National clothing, musical instruments, the Eagle hunters hats, political repressions, a ger (yurta), horse saddles and other horse riding equipment, some of the Soviet Union things and documents, food items and dishes, and many other interesting things. There are total of 3 floors.

Cute.

Olgii's only museum. But this is the best place start the tour in Ulgii as here you can study about culture and history first and after you will see all of them live.

More like soviet era things in it besides kazakh culture. Great museum to visit which gives quite good knowledge about the area and kazakh culture.

I have coming here since my childhood. This is best museum to see Ulgii history

If you visited to Olgii. Of course you need to go Olgii museum.
