Terelj Mountain Lodge

Nice and clean lodge. Restaurant was also good, especially mongolian dishes. Pizza is not recommended

My family and I stayed one night in this lodge and it was a really good experience. Astonishing views and a really good service! Can’t wait to be there next year.

I had memorable experiences of staying in this lodge. The location is nice and staffs are friendly, spacious gers, and modern interior designs.

Though water isn't lavishly available, they have clean shower room for guests. The restaurant is spacious with warm central heating system.

If you talk towards right side hilltop, you can get good panoramic views of ever-ending grasslands of Mongolia.

Just above is a huge rocky mountain. If you climb and get on its viewpoint, we can see turtle rock and town on another side of the mountain. It's nice. Recommend this lodge.

It's a beautiful hotel. The view is beautiful. There's a hill behind the hotel so people can climb in the afternoon or morning. There's a playground and basketball court, so you can play with kids there.
The weak side is the service. The hotel don't provide water and there's no water nearby our room. Every time I need to go to the restaurant to buy water. During the breakfast, the hotel gives you tea bags but no water. I need to buy bottle water every time.
The shower is very small and not hot and the window is broken. There's no body wash in the Bathroom. the hotel can improve its room maintenance.

The foods was nice and affordable prices.

We were very satisfied. The rooms are better than the Ger, theyve got their own bathroom. Ger are less expensive. Its clean, decent food, basketball, volleyball, soccer and a playground. Not barrier-free.

This place is very nice and clean. Rooms are spacious and very good for conferences or family events.

Restaurant at the lodge is very nice and they have big screen where you can play some nice video or surprise.

Food is good and staffs are polite and friendly.

I will definitely recommend if you are considering to stay or pay a day tour to this lodge.

By far the best service I've found in Terelj, let alone Mongolia. Stayed here during the weekend with my family of 4. Here's what I liked about the place. Checked us in early, moved us to a room that's next to the kids play room after finding out that I was there with my 2 boys. The room had the perfect view. Nice and clean. The staff helped me check in with my luggage. The food was delicious and had a quite reasonable price. Let us enjoy 4 complimentary breakfast although it was supposed to be 2 person per room. Allowed us to check out late upon our gentle request. The staff was super friendly. The location is perfect for a quiet weekend getaway.

Here are some disadvantages that we didn't mind, but others might: No Wifi, bed was a bit uncomfortable because of the hard mattress. Other than that the whole experience was awesome. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended.

The architecture of the resort is German (I think). The food is decent mix of western and local dishes. Rooms are clean. The service is good.
Good for family, friends, business

This is my favorite resort to stay in Mongolia. The atmosphere and environment is beautiful with a nice view of the nature. Interior of the buildings had it’s own unique style with delicate touches of decor. Another best part of my experience was their service. The staff members were super friendly and one of the lady she even tried to carry all our bags to our room! All their advertised activities such as karaoke, cinema, horse riding and sauna actually work. A lot of places say they have so many amenitites but when you ask they say only 1-2 of them are available. Breakfast is included with the rooms and have options for vegetarian people. They also had a cute dog that greeted us when we came and took us to our car when we left. We named her Jessie and she loves gentle people that pet her 😍 i would highly recommend this place for people that are looking to relax at a place that is not far from the city. It is located just off the main road so it is really easy to find. I stayed at Terelj World Resort just a few days before I came here and felt that place was such a rip off with no amenities, no service, and no feeling of comfiness and they had the same pricing! I would choose this place with no doubt

Awesome resort. I don’t even remember how many times i have been there. Every time i visit with my family, staffs are always nice and welcome. Food is good, rooms are comfy and they keep improving everything all the time

Great place to stay relax and enjoy natural beauty of Terelj National Park. Clean and neat rooms and gers and very great food. Friendly staff. Lots of things to make guests stay easier.

Went there to enjoy some food. The meal was delicious. I would recomment you to try the beef ribs.
