My mom and I loved our massages from Andy and Davey! It was a highlight of our vacation! Lorinda was lovely also! So glad we went!

In all Akumal this was the only place with some peace and quiet.

If you want to escape from tourists and car park selling people this is your go to!

Super friendly and amazing massage, they offer a lot of different packages. The therapeutic massage is the one I went for and I can definitely recommend.

I visited the area in April 2023. The spa owner was very nice. The spa is so cozy, quaint and very clean. I had the best scalp massage I’ve EVER had in my entire life. I highly recommend Buddha Garden Spa.

This place is really nice, it's super cute, affordable (for Akumal) and the owner is very personable. I had 80 min massage and a mini facial. Both were amazing and I'm very picky as a massage therapist/esthetician myself. I highly recommend this place!!

Lorinda is an excellent communicator. We had massages and facials. Budha Gardens Spa is a peaceful retreat. The energy is quiet, calm and healing. Pamela and Andy were the best massage therapists and facialists we've had. It is a treasure and I may plan a visit back to the area for the sole reason of going back!
The fees are affordable. The setting is natural and beachy. The greater benefit is meeting kind people who care about the services they provide,

I am a 57 year old who has had many a massage. Hands down, this was the best 80 minute, deep tissue massage of my life. Andy was my therapist. He did a perfect combination of swedish style long muscle pulling but deep into the muscle. I have never experienced that before and the best part, 80 min was $100 USD If I was traveling from Cancun to Tulum I would make the stop just to get another massage here.never had anything like it, us he added stretching that I needed.

Incredible. My Wife and I got the couples Peace package on our honeymoon. Worth every penny if not more. Both of us received massages from very intuitive, obviously experienced massage therapists. My wife likes relaxing light touch and I like very deep tissue. The massage I received may have been one of the best I have ever had. My Wife said the same of hers. The most relaxing way to begin our honeymoon in Akumal. Highly recommended.

This amazing boutique spa is locally owned and operated and has been a part of the community for over 25 years! The staff is very experienced in many different modalities and there are a variety of service offerings to choose from that will soothe and relax you! Truly a gem that is not to be missed!

We booked 2 couple massages today with Juan and Diana. They were both fantastic. It was a highlight of our trip and a perfect way to end our vacation. It was some of the best massages we have ever received and if they were local for us we would for sure go back regularly.

My best friend and I came down a few weeks ago to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We treated ourselves to a detox facial and a full body scrub. It was exactly what we had hoped for, and left your beautiful little spa glowing and full of bliss. The man who did our services was very professional and talented. The owner was very kind and accommodating and honestly she inspired us to live our best lives. I’m sorry I don’t recall everyone’s names, it was at the beginning of an 8 day adventure. We are very thankful to have stumbled onto this amazing Akumal gem.

A little off the main road into Akumal you enter thru a secured guarded road in the quaint dive community of Akumal. This tiny modest haven is tucled amidst the tallest palm trees on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

I received the best deep tissue massage of my life here.

There is a small sitting area in between the treatment rooms that has benches, birds, fountains and sculpture that offers shade and quiet healing.

I highly suggest booking 12-2 when you will want to be out of the sun.

My experience at Budha Garden Spa was absolutely amazing & exactly what I needed to start my vacation in Akumal, Mexico. I booked a massage online on my first day to wind down and de-stress from traveling. The owners of the spa, Lorinda & Juan got back to me right away, they were both very kind & nice and really took all the necessary precautions to make sure I felt safe & comfortable. The massage times are spread out with a 2 hour window in-between appointments for cleaning & sanitizing the rooms. As I walked into the reception area, I stomped my feet on the floor mat to de-sand my toes, and got my temperature taken before walking in. I loved the smells of incense & aromatherapy in the air with the calming spa music sounds playing in the background. They had a beautiful round table with spa products, soaps, bath & shower bombs, white sage smudge sticks, incense & candles. My experience at Budha Garden Spa really set the tone to start my relaxing Akumal vacation. The spa is beautifully decorated and the massage rooms smell so good & are very clean & sanitary. Juan gave me a therapeutic tissue massage that focuses on deeper tensions in your muscles & after three months of traveling to get to Mexico during this pandemic, this was exactly what the doctor ordered. This was the best massage I have EVER had. I highly recommend the deep tissue massage with aromatherapy. Getting there was easy. I arrived into Akumal, walked toward the arches that lead you to the beach, & entered through a private hotel reception area called Hotel Akumal Caribe. I was greeted by security, he took my temperature, and gave me a dollop of hand sanitizer. I then continued down the road to the spa, it was beautiful, peaceful, & serene. I walked a little further down the road, passed the Mexic Arte boutique with amazing local art work and clothing, then saw the Budha Garden Spa sign on the right. As I walked into the spa reception area to check in, they have a beautiful front patio with a gorgeous purple door with trees, flowers & palms everywhere. I was promptly greeted by the receptionist, then offered a cool beverage or a herbal tea. I was guided to the courtyard garden area to relax and finish my beverage. The courtyard is very zen with lush palm trees, budha sculptures, bamboo, burning candles, incense, & fresh flowers. I finished my beverage with the calming sounds of the tropical garden & the beach waves in the distance. This is where my masseuse, Juan, greeted me then welcomed me into the massage room. The smell of aromatherapy in the air immediately relaxed me, I felt very welcomed, relaxed, & safe. Akumal will hold always hold a special place in my heart after this experience and will definitely come back to Budha Garden Spa to try out more of their services.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 80 minute relaxation massage by Juan. He was professional and polite. It was extremely affordable and such a cute little place. I only wish I went the first day and got to do it all again! (We walked over from the Secrets hotel which was about a three minute walk)

I’ve experienced chronic illness for the last 25+ years. Lately it’s been in the form of lots of body pain. Many of my problems, I believe, started when I was a near-fatal car accident after which I spent a month n the hospital. All that to say, I’ve been to many therapists including massage therapists and Diana and Juan both were the best ever. Wow! I went twice when I was there last week and will be booking subsequent appointments. Thank you!
