Simba Falls

The hidden gem of Manikhel, once we parked our vehicle and motorcycles at the base of the hills, we started walking on the narrow walking trails along the fast flowing brook with crystal clear water, at some point we enjoyed watching the fishes on the ponds in the brook, had a local tour guide, he was sharing his childhood memories walking up and down the same route we were walking, very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the region, beautiful scenery that brightened the sight of the eyes, had a nice hike to the falls and back to the base of the hills! Avoid throwing trashes would preserve the beauty of the nature!!

Simba Falls was a breathtaking natural gem. Its cascading waters, set against a backdrop of lush greenery, created a serene and picturesque scene. The moderate hike to reach the falls added to the adventure, making it a well-rounded experience. While the falls were smaller than some others I've seen, their charm and tranquility left a lasting impression. It was a perfect spot to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Great place for 1 day trip from ktm valley . Trip started from patan from 7 am reached manikhel bazar @10.30 ate some cooked noodles n boiled eggs at small restaurant (lunch wasn't available there) reached simba falls starting point around 11am , hiked up and returned back reached starting point around 4-4.30pm and reached home around 8.30-8.45. overall trip was great . Prefer motorcycle rather than scooter. Whoever going there please don't litter everywhere jata tatai chaw chaw packets aaru plastics haru theyo so people please learn to love nature save nature ✌✌

Every thing is nice as expected but i suggest you to wear slippers during this vist so it will be easy to walk up to simba fall from hiking trail

Difficult road took to beautiful destination

51 Km away from core Bhaktapur. But road are quit difficult to ride...after reaching Manikhel,Simba falls then you will surely forget pain n You get relaxation from Water falls & natural resources 😎. Best for 1 day hike around 1 hours for reaching Simba waterfalls. There are 7 major waterfalls with 5-30m height.

The only waterfall in lalitpur district.
There's seven layer of water fall you can see. Also villagers told us that we can see birgunj city and other parts of terai region from the top of the hill.

Best place near ktm

Awsome place, there is two way to go Simba fall one from lele, chunikhel side and another from Tika bhairav the best way is from lele chunikhel way which is pitch all and little bit oofroad but tikabhirab way is full off road but shortcut. 😊 😊 ❤

It was awesome trip

After 3 hrs of ride from Kirtipur, It was long hike from simba hotel to simba falls of around 30 mins...The place is not suitable to go in rainy season or in very cold season
