It was a public holiday. After visiting the Grutas da Moeda, we went to this restaurant by chance. It was very busy there and beside us all the guests were locals. Yes no menu was served to us and the communication in English was little bit difficult. We just ordered our dishes by showing the photos on the smartphone. But you know what, it turned to a very big surprise! The steak and salmon were above average and in big portions. The cod with potatoes was one of the best which we tried in Portugal, very flavorful and also widely ordered by other guests. The prices were quite fair and the staff treated us very well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The staff is very friendly but very busy during lunch. The food is excellent our group of 5 was there one year ago and we enjoyed the food and the hospitality that we drove way out of way to go there again this year. We were catered royally during their run busy lunch time last year and again this year. Lunch included desert, coffee, and their cheirinho (moonshine) in the coffee at the same dinner price. Food is excellent, very tasty and the price is reasonable and competitive.
For anyone visiting the Leiras Fatima Shrine that has time and wants to appreciate the rural 7 km drive into the interior of the country it is well worth the winding road trip and highly recommended.

Café restaurant propre, avec un personnel accueillant, un bon rapport qualité/prix, endroit convivial et pas plus bruyant que le reste des restaurants du même style.
Tous leurs plats sont excellents, nous n'avons jamais été déçus.
Mon pêche mignon la picanha et elle est excellente, je n'ai pas trouvé meilleur.
Je recommande à 100 %

Para quem pretende comer bem e em conta, aqui está o ligar certo. Refeições diárias de qualidade e pratos especiais.

Restaurante 5 estrelas prato sempre aviado e não é caro, pratos de carne e peixe muito bons, aconselho a irem lá comer um bom bacalhau e uma boa carne grelhada que não vai ficar mal servidos.

Recomendo, pessoal muito simpático, comida excelente e boa relação qualidade/preço.

Comida caseira muito mas muito boa, bom ambiente , adoro almoçar aqui, o bacalhau à casa, o bacalhau com chicharos o borrego etc .... tudo muito bom, o proprietário é uma pessoa extraordinária e o resto do staff também tudo 5 estrelas
