Location fantastic. Rooms have full shower, toilet and mirror. Assume anything can happen but how the staff and owner handle unplanned situations is the real test. The power went down along with ac and the maintenance arrived in record time. If you know anything about the maintenance industry it could have easily been hours before a solution could have been done. This hotel fixed the issue within 30 minutes . Staff was wonderful even with my own limited Spanish. Environment was family friendly. No liquor but plenty of beer. We will be back. Ocean is on your doorstep. Food is good

-beach is not crowded
-owner lives on site (problems get resolved immediately)
-$80/night breakfast included
-tip you server good they will stick with you and go above and beyond for you.

I had a wonderful experience here. I speak Spanish so I was fine, the wife and kid very super limited ESL skills, they had a hard time when I left them alone.

Favorite place, I stay here 4-6 times a year.
Room #7 is close to the ocean.

My family had a great time during our stay. We felt safe during the night and loved the beachfront and pool area during the day. The beds were comfortable and the room fit our needs for a two night stay. The food was good as well. We will definitely be back!

Great hotel for a few nights on a beautiful coast. We came for one night but stayed for four. There is not a huge amount to do in El Espino but the beach is gorgeous and goes on for miles - you can walk to the start of the Bahía de Jiquilisco - and the staff in the hotel are brilliant. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to relax, right on the coast, with a good sized pool, this is perfect.

The food is great.. Just so you know it's $15 per person to get in but it is consumable (meaning that this charge includes food or whatever you want to spend it on) ... THEY TAKE CREDIT CARDS! .. you can swim in the pool or take a few steps and hit the beach ... All in all, my favorite place to go when I visit Playa El Espino

Beachfront hotel & restaurant in El Espino. You can pay a day pass or stay overnight. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. Facilities were clean.
