Punta Mango Surf Resort

This place is great.
Be prepared for a bumpy 2.5-3 hour ride from the airport, but it’s worth the trip.
The rooms are nice. The AC is super cold.
The food is excellent, remarkably good.
We surfed our front on some small days and then surfed the point when the swell came in.
The pic is the super burger, I highly recommend!

Great small resort on an incredible black sand beach, with a beach break out front, and the world famous punta mango just 100 yards up the beach. Only 6 rooms so never crowded. Surf all morning, then spend the day in the hammock or the pool. After an evening surf session, sleep easy in AC room with very comfortable beds. Highly recommend!!! I can’t wait to go back!

Jorge and his entire staff have a secluded little piece of surfer heaven. World class right point break at punta mango is 5 minute walk down the beach. Surf all morning have great breakfast and coffee at the resort and rest by the pool or take a nap in the AC in your room to rest up for the afternoon session. Food was great staff are super friendly and accommodating. I was here for 10 days and i really didnt want to leave. Another huge bonus was the local photogs would shoot daily and stop by the resort with pics of your entire session. No obligation to buy and very very affordable when they get a shot you just have to have! Oh, and boat trips from the beach to surf secluded points near by. Punts Mango Surf Resort is an all around amazing experience!

This is an amazing location, right on the beach and next to the point! The rooms, staff and food was great 👍

Para un vehículo sedan es difícil llegar pero se puede si se va con mucha precaucion. Ahora bien, si el sedan es muy bajo no recomiendo hacer el viaje, sería mejor alquilar otro vehículo más adecuado para el tramo final del trayecto. Hay 9km de carretera muy complicada. La playa es hermosa, el personal es amable y adecuado, la comida es muy buena y no es concurrido.
