I Would Recommend Golden Triangle Buddha In Chiang Rai Because The Buddha Was Big. I Also Recommend This Place To Tourists So That More Visitors Will Enjoyed The Place. The Buddha Was Very Big And I Also Take Photos And Videos Of The Buddha There. It Is Near Laos Border Bakso. It Has White Elephant Picture In Thailand.

When you look at it from the river bank it seems to be the most beautiful Buddha monument I've ever seen. Nowhere else can you see such sight only in Thailand. It will stay forever in my heart.

Located near the triangle park, a beautiful sight seeing. Can see the famous golden triangle from here. There's a public toilet near this place. At the moment, this area become crowded, full of tourist. They will spend sometimes to enjoy and pray. Lot off motorbike parking space, for car, better leave or park in restaurant neer from this place.

Great view of the Golden triangle. The Laos side is one big Chinese land consession with a casino and huge hotels. The Buddha is big and. There are many religious statues representing all the different Faith's in the area. The opium museum is down the road. Makes you wonder how much heroin and opium was actually traded in the area.

Must see! Best Time before 18:00 O’clock when the Sun “Sunk” in the Mekong.... WOW!

When you follow the river to the south (as I did several times by bike) all of a sudden you see the huge Buddha statue. It's immense and all comprising, dominating the surroundings.
It's situated at a historic and interesting place. Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet along the two rivers over there. At the horizon one can discover China.
Huge differences can be noticed.
The place itself is nice for a stopover and the Thai even "send" rolling coins to the statue.
Beautiful panorama, lot of typical boats, just relax and remember why it is the Golden Triangle...

Impressive Buddha statue in the Bangkok of Mekong River. This statue is situated in a boat shape pier so when you see it from the other side of the river bank from Laos it looks like Buddha's sitting in a boat. Also there is a small market along with it where we had fresh coconut and coffee.

Good place for travel 3 country at once.
