Kathu Waterfall

The Waterfall was empty (time of year), nevertheless walk was interesting up lots of steps and on through the forest. Came into a rubber plantation.

Best part is the jungle Cafe at the bottom, best Massaman curry we had in Thiland.

Very amazing piece of paradise you can set and have lunch. Just be aware if you get too close to the water as the rocks are very slippery otherwise it's beautiful

Great place to be - like a secret place for having a refreshment & sit with friends between mostly only locals ... unfortunately some plastic = just take your stuff back home 🚯🫸

Was here on a Sept morning.
Easy to find.
If u r here for scenery , go to Canada or Iceland…. but u can’t swim n enjoy the waters rushing down on u.

This is Thailand.
Thankful to the Govt or National Park people..
cement steps built to lead u up.
The waters was strong and I enjoyed myself in the waters.

Great area but in need of some TLC, better in rainy season to get true beauty of waterfall.

Concrete steps to top of Falls, an additional track to little pool.

Make sure stop into Jungle cafe at entrance over bridge awesome location after walk.

Lovely little place for a visit and small hike up to the falls.

A great spot for a little hiking activity in the forest. There are also information boards along the path about Thailand's forest diversity. There is the beginning of the waterfall where the road ends, but I think it was possible to go further. Be prepared to climb stairs.

Experience jungle vibes sitting under the waterfall, enjoying with music and beer. Perfect spot to hangout.
Timings 8am - 5pm. No fee. Free parking.

I love the area, it looks miraculous and sleepy, like small jungle village, very peaceful ambience.

The stairs lead to the waterfall, if you want to see only it, you won’t need anything, you up there in 5 minutes.

After stairs you can find a hike. We did it with two kids, it was hard for them, but they did it. It was slippery though. But everybody were in proper shoes. Still slippery but a bit better at least.

The hike is short, but longer with kids. If you are alone, 15 min up maximum.

It leads to a dirt road and you can find a beginning of waterfall to the left side. It looks nice, but you don’t have to hike for it solely. Just for exercise.

The path is ok, way down is ok, too, because it is not long.

There are several cafes in the down part.

The entrance is free.

Lovely place to visit and chill out , make sure you are fit there's a lot of steps too climb !

Very nice place to hiking and trail but be sure you have a professional guide who know the roads and trails , otherwise maybe you lost ,

If you go (almost) all the way up the stairs, you will find a magical quite spot. We really loved it.

This is a nice little place to explore and something different than the beach, the water is cooler and not as many tourists hang out here, it is a small waterfall and the stair walk is a bit of a climb, however once you get in the water it's very refreshing. You can even have a free fish spa as there are little fish who come and nibble at your feet, cleaning off the dead skin. I definitely recommend this place for a change of scene.

Nice place,people who are not afraid of 100s of stairs, should must go! It is kind of a rain forest, with birds singing and sound of water fall, waow!

Very nice and calm also the coffee shop ice cream cafe and restaurant around there affordable seasonal food

Amazing fusion of a not too huge waterfall on this tropical Island if you need a break from the beaches for a change! Do carry some quick bites and drinks along!

Awesome and free very rare for taillande the country where the tourists there look like by the locally populations such a milk cow

Because it's high season, so it is empty. But still calm and wild place to explore
